my belly has been really itchy the past 2 days is there anything i can rub into it you would think this being baby number 5 i would know these things but to be honest i have forgotten i have some baby oil somewhere but was just wanting to know if there was anything better than that if you know what i mean

Hiya!
Try E45, (but not the itch relief one).. its what i used.. i was really itchy from early on with no.4! Its hormonal apparently.. all down my back and belly used to drive me crazy!!!! Eeker

yep my back is itching too lol i think i have some e45 somewhere in my bathroom cabinet thankyou hunnie xxx

hi

have you mentioned this to your midwife, i know a ladie who was very itchy and her midwife did a few checks on her, not sure at all what they were for though sorry!!

hiya liz no i havent asked my midwife yet but i think if its still itchy like this on monday i might mention it im only 9 weeks so not sure if theres anything she can check for really i know in late pregnancy she can check for a liver condition(obstetric cholestasis(sp))not too sure if it can happen so early on the e45 kind of worked for a few hours last night but i have woken up itching again going to rub some more in after my shower and see how i go

hi,
it was a liver condition that they checked my friend out for, she wasnt too fare along, id mention it tho,
i had a really itchy belly with ds when my skin was stretching, not too much these days as the strech marks are just resuming stretched mode again lol

hope it stops soon hun!

i`m going to go see my dr in the morning its really annoying now and very evry sore mil gave me some aqueos cream to rub into it today going to do that after my bath in a bit will update you on what the dr thinks in the morning

the dr has given me some antihistamines and some more e45 cream she said if im still feeling the same to go back next week and she will test for the pregnancy condition(i would spell it if i knew how to lol) so im going to go and have a bath and smother myself now in the cream and chill for the rest of the arvo

your not supposed to take them in pregnancy hun thats why lol my dr had to look in her book thingey and had to prescribe me one of the old fashioned ones that make you all dopey just taken the first one lets see if they work

ah those books are magic arent they!!

i see the doc look in there but always double check i can take them or else i get paranoid and ask the chemist lol!!
are they working?
