I need some help and advice!

I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and finally stopped bleeding completely 4 weeks ago. 6 weeks ago my hCG was 191 then two days later 182 so we knew i was miscarrying.

I have had no symptoms other than a slight inkling that i might be pregnant again so i did a test and it came up as faintly positve.

I am so confused, is it just that my hCG levels haven't returned to normal or could i be pregnant again? I have been advised by a friend to repeat the test in a few days and if it's more positive then i am which i will do. In the mean time i am wondering if it is just the hCG level staying high??

it sounds like you are pg...the HCG should make it's way out after the bleeding stopped. Call your DR and see what they say, they should have an oncall person over the w/e. It would be a long time HCG to be in your system, so good luck!![][][]

Thanks Noodle, it's so difficult not to get your hopes up, i'm the kind of person that needs to know all the facts and having to wait just kills me!!

I'll try and stop thinking about it and not worry until i do the test later in the week

good luck to you noo, but it really does sound right on!! Just took an HPT at 9DPO (i know it's early) but i think that i am going to get AF anyway instead of being crushed by her arrival. Babydust seems to be going around though!! 5 girls just got +HPT's on the 2ww thread!! Let me know how you make out and best of luck!!

Hi Noo, really hope you are pg hun, I'm going through exactly the same, I had a m/c 5 and a half weeks ago and I too have got a very faint bfp today. My hcg was only at 25 when I started to miscarry and I had to do a hpt when the bleeding stopped which was bfn so I know I have at least conceived again, just hope this is a very sticky bean. Terrified of still getting af or having athird m/c.

I wish i had done a test after bleeding stopped now because then i would be less confused now!!

Will do another test on thurs i think and see what happens. Will think positive eep baby in tummy thought for you Kate, fingers crossed xxxx

noo- how's it going?? any news??[]

No news yet, would love to do another test tomorrow but i think it might be too soon and wouldn't necessary show anything different yet. Planning on re-testing on Thurs which will be about a week after the other one, thought that by then my hCG will be a lot higher if i am.

Trying not to think about it too uch but v.tricky! No other symptoms though so doesn't look that good, will let you know how i get on.

Hi Kate. If you remember I was on the July thread but also had a miscarriage a week or so after you. Just wanted to say that i hope your faint positive turns into a BFP soon! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I am waiting for Af to show as its 4 weeks tomorrow. I think if I am pregnant it will be a miracle but I'm sure I ovulated about a week to 10 days after the loss which was weird. Oh well, will soon know.

Hi Mantha, yes I do remember you I am so sorry to hear your news I had no idea (((((Mantha))))). I hope you are bearing up ok, I know how devastated you must be feeling. With regard to ov, well yes its possible to ov that soon, I ov 2 1/2 weeks after the bleeding stopped. Let us know how you get on, hopefully you'll get af very soon so you can ttc again, or of course a lovely BFP.

Noo, good luck for testing, do you have any idea when your af was due? Hopefully you'll get a nice dark line next time.

Well I'm just feeling really nervous and trying to be positive but I did another test today and its only slightly darker than yesterdays, still very pale. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm still only 13dpo and that I tested so early and af isn't actually due until Thurs/Fri, so of course the test would be pale??? I guess I want this so bad so am naturally terrified. ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! And at this stage its too soon for symptoms. I am weeing more but have mild af cramps []

Hi, I really wish Noo and Kate all the luck in the world this time.

I just had a scan yesterday and have been told I have miscarried. I would have been 8 weeks today with my first pregnancy but I knew something was wrong at the weekend so at least I had some idea it would be bad news.

It's still really miserable though. I think I'm worse today. More teary.
But anyway. I just wanted to ask how long you bled for before it was over? How did you know it was properly over? I started bleeding on Sunday, but it's very intermittent. Sometimes the cramps are bad, then they just go away.

And how do you test your HcG levels?

I can't believe that you might both have had good news so soon afterwards. It gives me hope. I had resigned myself to a long wait to get pregnant again which really depresses me.

Scal hon - so so sorry to hear of your news. I am from the clomid thread but unfortunately had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in November, so I know a little of how you are feeling. It will get easier I promise, just allow yourself to cry.

I had only started light spotting on the Thurs and it was the follow Tues when I went in for a D&C, by then I was bleeding quite heavily, but afterwards it only lasted a couple of days. Have you been offered a D&C ? I went for it cos I didn't want the bleeding to go on for ages.

Listen, best of luck for next time and they do say having a mc makes you more fertile ! It could happen again for you very quickly, you never know. God does work in funny ways and it just wasn't your time hon.
