just was wondering if you had heard something from the doctor yet with regards to pg test cos of soft cervix? i also saw your question on is it possible to concieve so quick after coming off the pill.
the truth is YES. As i am living proof of it. with pg 2 it took 2and a half years to catch because i suffered with policistic ovaries so in november last year we decided to start trying although my daughter was only 11months at the time. i stopped taking the pill (i had only been back on it for about a year) and cought first time!!! (HOW SHOKED WAS I!!! VERY) SO FINGERS CROSSED THINGS WILL HAVE ALREADY HAPPENED.
let me know when you hear from the doctors. you can email me on vickyhowells@fsmail.net if you want to.
keep in touch

What a nightmare this has turned out to be. I am not due on my period until next Sunday. I have done three tests including two from the hospital and they have all come back negative. My tummy is taking a real bashing. I keep getting the occasional period pain but nothing happens, then it turns into a niggle pain near my groin. Yesterday I had to go home from work as it was making me feel nautious and dizzy. I phoned a doc at the local surgery and he said that according to my notes I am not pregnant and to take ibuprofen. The firm got me a taxi home and I ended up going to A&E. The doc did the third pregnany test it again came back negative. He said I wasn't pregnant and there was nothing wrong with me. I am going back today to my doc as feel really bad and really tired.
How soon was it the you conceived after coming off the pill? (sorry to be personal).
Also what are pollistic ovaries? If you don't mind me asking that is...

no thats ok your not being personal. i came off the pill begining of november 03 and found out i was pg day after boxing day. so quite quick. you do know that a pg test done by hospital or doctor is not as good as a home pg test. you can get a wrong negative but never a wrong positive.
unless anything happens e.g. period then i would keep testing if i was you. if you have not been pregnant for long then it wont show up on a test as well as it should. apparently first response is supposed to be the best test for sensitivity and will detedct it if you are. dont bother with the clear blue digital (load of rubbish and you still dont know one way or the other)!!!
anyway good luck and keep having fun practising if you are not pregnant yet. keep me posted
