Hi all

I usually post on the TTC for 6+ months thread but wanted to ask something specific. Hoping someone might be able to enlighten me...

I had the day 3 blood test in Oct as part of routine infertility investigations. Went to GP for results and was told my FSH was fine at 5.7 and also that my Estradiol was also ok at 148. My GP's a bit vague but I took her word for it. Have since read various stuff saying that an Estradiol level of 80+ is abnormal and that this can impact on fertility, affect ovarian reserve and even mask a problem with your FSH levels.

Has anybody else had any similar results or know whether I should be banging on the door of an endocrinologist?!

hiya claire..why not bring this up with ur GP...that u r still concerned??

if u want to check ur ovarian reserve try using FERTELL...its 80pounds from boots and u use it on day 3 to determine ur ovarian reserve (BFP or BFN style) also comes with a sperm moitlity detector ...good lil thing to ease the TTC tension

Thanks for your reply. I think I've had it with my GP...she dismissed it as not being a problem but frankly I just don't trust anything she says. I'm trying to contact my gynae. direct to see what he thinks.

Dh has already had 3 sperm tests so we know he's ok []
