Hi

I actually use a chicco ponee stroller that i got on a pallet of nursery goods 2-3 yrs back. its brill and can be used from birth and a non chicco footmuff fits fine to keep her snug. i like it as i have a small car. In fact my niece likes it best out of all her buggies, and was heartbroken when we told her Baby Lauren was having it.

You do not need to spend a fortune to get a good pram and or stroller.

HI I have had so many I have lost count! I am due with my 3rd baby in march. I have just ordered this one from mamas and papas.

http://www.mamasandpapasonline.com/viewitem.php?code=25...11423402&showtype=I#

I have taken ages to decide too, but thought I better get it ordered as only 11 weeks till my little bundle will be here and I am not sure how long it will take to come.

There are loads of great prams about. Try lots out before you buy. I did lol. Things to consider: What price you are willing to pay, size and weight, so if you have a small car or use the bus etc go for something lighter and smaller.
If you walk lots and across fields etc maybe opt for a 3 wheeler or a pram with off road tyres and suspension.
What are your needs? Do you want a big shopping basket, a travel system?

Good luck in your search. Also if you are strapped for cash you can get some bargains on ebay.

Love Lorraine. x

I've gone for a M&P Pliko P3 Pramette.

With my last baby I had a M&P 3 wheeler, and while nice and sturdy it takes up an acre of space in the boot!

The Pliko Pramette i've gone for this time is a 1 handed umbrella fold so much easier, and it converts from a lay flat pram to a pushchair which is basically all I wanted, something compact that baby can lay flat in to start with.

Only pushed it around the house as it is new and nothing to put in it yet but the handles adjust from high up for tall people to quite low down so my kids can easily push it and they are 8 and 10 years old. There are about six different height clicks for the handlebars.

i brought a bugaboo cameleon from baby boom ( an internet site and they have a shop in london)

i mainly brought it because i thought it looked great. and they had an offer on where i got a free car seat witht the pram.

dh and i spend yesterday morning putting it together, and i personaly think it's fantastic.

light and easy to move around, it starts off as a carry cot then when the baby get's older it turns into a buggy. so it should last them from birth till 4 years old !

and you can choose you own colour combo!

i'm not due till start of april, and it's my first baby. but after all my reasearch this is the one i went for.

good luck in choosing one [Big Grin][Big Grin]

Hi!
We bought a red Mountain Buggy Urban for our 1st baby 18 mths ago and think its fantastic. Baby no. 2 is on the way and I really want to get the double version now. I didn't really research prams very much... saw it in a magazine in an article about 3 wheelers and it came out 2nd best from the selection tested. I didn't like the one that came 1st as it looked too fussy. My DH was all for it even though he baulked at the price as hes a kiwi and they're from NZ! The Mountain Buggy is so easy to push with just one hand. It has a swivel front wheel which can be locked in place if you're heading over rough ground, and a nice big basket underneath. It lies almost flat for newborns, but we bought the carrycot as well which sits on the frame intead of the normal seat and can be unclipped in seconds and used as a carrycot around the house too. Our DD stayed in that til she was 5 months old and then we put the pushchair seat on it. We got ours from www.chariotsatp.co.uk they have some great deals if you want extras.
Whatever you do... if you opt for a 3 wheeler make sure it has a swivel front wheel

I am a bit of an ebayer and I got my pram back in August just after I found I was pregnant. A little early but it was a bargain. I wasn't particularly worried about it being new as I have three other kids and have spent a lot of money on previous prams so I went onto ebay and picked up the traxx marlin 3 which was second hand and the bronco carrycot. she also put in the rain covers for both buggy and pram, the cosy toes for the buggy and the adaptors for changing pram to buggy. All this would have cost 400 out of the shops at that time but I won the auction for 120. I was so chuffed. She was one of these ladies that wanted the latest models and it was immaculate. Only 5 months old. She also had the attaching carseat which she was still using as the baby was quite small so she said she would let me know when she had finished with it but I found another matching one brand new on ebay worth 89 and I won it for 34, then only a week ago, I won the matching changing bag rrp 34.99 and I won it for 2.20 brand new again. so I have around 550 worth of pram for about 170. People laugh when I tell them and say I am the ebay queen but I am well pleased with my bargains and can't wait for the baby to be in it.
