I am Currently 17 weeks preg with my 3rd child,i went for a routine scan to find out the baby may have this choroid plexus cyst condition which affects the 18th chromosome i have read about it, but gives you the worse case ie the child could be born still born,or have whats like downs i am asking if anyone is going through what i am or have maybe had it with another pregnancy as im at a lose i dont know what to do

I have twins and when I was 17 weeks pregnant I was told one of the twins had a CPC and she also had a single umbilical artery and I looked on the net and worried myself stupid that the baby had some sort of syndrome. My dr hightly recommended another scan at a larger hospital to look at the baby in more details and low and behold the cyst had disappeared. We were told that they often appear but then disappear later in the prenancy and on their own are of little significance. I don't know if this is what you mean when you say your baby has this condition but I am presuming the choroid plexus cyst. All the very best and hope all is well with the next scan.
