Anyone know when its normal to start getting that fluttering feeling?
Had a few over last few days but kept convincing myself i was imaging things or it was trapped wind or something but just had two in the last half hour so starting to wonder.
Felt Josh at around 16wks and Kaleb was around 13/14wks
Just seems bit early
Any ideas girls? []

Sheryl - This is my first pregnancy but had loads of fluttery feelings from 13 weeks, the Midwife said this was due to being really slim, I was glad as it is soooo reassuring!

I've been thinking that I've been getting them too but when I concentrate and stop what I'm doing it doesn't happen again so I've put it down to wind!!!!
I'm on baby number 3 so maybe we are more tuned in to recognise them now ?

Had more last night when went to bed so i think it is bubs having a wriggle. Had a word with midwife this morning and she agreed probably is as i'm so small and as its my third i know what to expect.
Lorraine - Not long now hun - been keeping an eye on you on the other threads (i had crutches and back brace last time because of spinal problems) are they going to induce or let you go to term?
Jen - congrats I remember my first and how exciting but scary it all was. Hope all goes to plan, do you know what your having?
Zoe - Tell me about it been trying to convince myself was being silly and that it was just trapped wind but after last night pretty sure its not lol
TC - Wow due tomorrow - any signs of an ontime arrival? (my first was born on his due date) Yes love feeling babies moving around -will be glad once movements are bit stronger because of the complications this time it will very reassuring to be able to feel.
Sorry if that doesnt make sense brain fried this morning lol

Yeah they are goiong to let me go to term. I am really in pain now but trying to stay positive, have had a few days of being really down so need to sort myself out lol. I have been nesting like there is no tomorrow for the past day and and am again today. Back is really bad, so did not sleep well last night, but trying to stay active as much as I can. It keeps locking without warning and by god that hurts really bad!!!! Still baby should be here soon so hope it will be ok after?

Oh sending you hugs hun - hope little one will get bum in gear and arrive really soon. Cant believe they are making you go to term. Have they said what it is or is it just the weight of baby? Mine was due to spondylolythesis (sp? still cant remember lol) so thats how come i was induced and midwife said i will have to be induced this time aswell unless baby arrive before 38wks.
Mine was fine once Kaleb arrived was off the crutches as soon as he was delivered.
What pain relief are you going for - i had pethidine with my first and didnt think much to that, but with Kaleb they gave me an epidural and i somehow managed to sleep through labour completely just waking up to push him out. It was heaven lol first time i'd managed to sleep without being in pain since i was 20 wks. the midwifes said i couldnt possibly be ready to push as there was no way i could have slept through the contractions but sure enough 10mins later he was in my arms.
Anyway hun sorry for the mega post - bit hyper now as just managed to hear the heartbeat on my doppler for the first timeand recorded it onto my phone so sat here with it playing over and over again lol
take care of yourself and dont overdo things

Hiya I know what a nightmare, I am terrified to be honest. One minute I think I want this all over and done with, then I think I can't go through labour and I go to bits. I hope to have an epidural I had one with my first but not my second and I felt everything including when I tore. My first labour was long with Adam 30 hours and a forceps delivery. Chloe was a 6 hour labour and and a normal delivery though painful I recovered much faster. Adam was 8lb and Chloe was 7lb 3oz. They did say that this baby was small, but now has grown and is average size, they don't think he is too big, might be about the same size as chloe so will see. I usually go to term and with Chloe I went over so I am not sure what will happen this time. LOL I am just taking each day as it comes.
Bless I bought a doppler, I only use it a bit now when I have not felt much movement. Brillinat aren't they. Bless listening to it over and over on your phone. cute.
Well must get some lunch I am getting hungry and Chloe is too. Chat again soon
Love Lorraine. 36 weeks and 5 days EEEEEKKKKKKK!!!![:0]
