Hi Ladies

I usually post on the weight loss site but I am wondering if any of you can help me with any advise for a friend of mine.

She has been on Microgynon 30 pill for at least 5 years now and has never had any trouble. However, her period was due last sunday and she had just had very small amounts of discharge (she says very small) for the last 2 days now. No blood at all. She is ready to restart her pill again tomorrow after her usual 7 day break.

Could she be pregnant??? and what would you do? Take the pill as usual or not? I really don't know what to advise her. She says she is too scared to do a test at the moment.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

hi there although i have always come off the pill before becoming pregnant i think if i were in your friends shoes i would give my gp a ring and check it out with them as normally you are advised against taking the pill if you may be pregnant.
her gp will probably do a test for her.
i suppose there is no way around it other than doin a test.

some gps do phone consultations, mabe she could speak to them earlier, is she carrying on with her pill?
