Hi everyone,

Im 36 and trying very hard to get pregnant, I got my coil removed in December and had a regular period on 29th of December. I have been using the ovulation kits and ovulated on 17th of Jan, I know I am probably overexcited, but I can't wait!!! I have 3 kids already and Im 36, my youngest is 13, I must be mad; my partner has no children and only has one testicle, due to a motorbike accident. He has to get his one remaining testicle removed next year, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that we have success asap!!!

Anyone, with any ideas about my question would be greatly appreciated...

i think that you are about 7dpo so it might be too early for a test to show up yet. the earliest i have ever got a positive hpt is at 8dpo but i was preg with triplets so had loads of hcg flying about. i think about 12 dpo would give you a pretty accurate result if you used one of the early preg tests like clearblue.

why don't you come and join us on the ttc board, there's loads of us on there and everyone really friendly and i'm sure they'd have some good advice for you.

What is ttc? Im only new on here and not sure what all the abbreviations are, lol, Im sure eventually I will catch on!!!

ttc is short for "trying to conceive" you would be more than welcome to join us
