i had AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND LOST ME RIGHT TUBE, MY DOCTOR TOLD ME I COULD START TRYING AGAIN AFTER I HAVE 1 TRUE PERIOD, I AM WORRIED THAT I WONT OVULATE FROM THE LEFT SIDE AT ALL OR THAT I WILL BUT IT WILL BE IRRUGLAR.. I WAS ON THE INTERNET AND HAD READ SOMEWHERE THAT THERE IS A DRUG CLOMID THAT IS PERSCRIBED FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT OVUATE OR OVULATE IRRUGLARLY.. DO YOU THINK THIS COULD HELP ME. IM DRIVING MYSELF INSANE AT THE FACT I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET PREGNANT AGAIN OR THAT IT WILL TAKE ME FOREVER.. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE ON THIS DRUG
usually you will ovulate from one side of the other and even with one tube you can still conceive. Wait till your body settles babe before taking clomid or anything else, have you had a period yet? If not wait and then try. They prob wont perscribe them straight away any way. try to stay poitive and hope that you conceive soon.

hi I have a blocked tube so only have one functioning and conceived on clomid, but this was at the end of exhaustive tests and procedures (about a year). The idea of clomid is that it makes you produce multiple eggs of really high quality so the chances of hitting the target are higher. I think you can only get clomid on prescription from a consultant in the UK (I doubt you can get it from your gp as there can be side effects from using it) so you'll need to see your gp and get a referral to an obygyn consultant for them to assess whether or not it will work for you.
Like lorraine says, you need to give your body time to settle down after your ectopic and just try to conceive again naturally. If it's any help, I have just conceived again naturally with one tube, so it does happen
