Hi Tallgirl Smiler

It's nice 2 c you on the thread. After last night's madness, I wondered whether anybody would ever return (myself included). YES, let's go back to talking about mucus, shagging and all the other lovely light-hearted ttc topics. I hope we can all lick our wounds & recover from the insanity that went on in the forum last night.

p.s. hope u r getting in some goof bd-ing! Do u think ov is around the corner?

Nadinec: hi Smiler Glad that u've got some more sanity in your house now that your ds's bedroom is sorted. How is your ds now? Hope his fever is better.

Kitkat: [[[[[[HUGS]]]]]]] How r u this morning luv?

xx yaya

Well in that case......!

I think I am about to ov, but not sure. Last month was the first time I charted and I ov'd on day 22 and am now on day 19. needless to say I have become inexplicably attracted to my DH again and simply can't get enough sex. (or at least, thats waht he thinks...hahhaha). My stick peeing all says no surge so far though...so the shagaton must continue for a few more days yet. I will be walking funny by the time its all over. And then my poor DH will get a good two weeks "recovery" because I always get a bit worried that carrying on the shagathon might just prod a new beanie and stop it from implanting! Insane I know.

What about everyone else? where are you in the cycle at the mo?

Hey Girls,

Just wondered if I could join you cos I fit in to this too however I will prob still post on the TTC thread I fit in to both really and I like chatting with the girls on there too.

Im Claire, Im 24 and I have lived with my partner since we bought our own house together in November. Im from Scotland. We decided to stop contraception in feb this year but because of my cycle being messed up and because of other health problems I have we said straight away that we were just gonna stop contraception and see what happens when I joined the TTC thread tho I did get a let obsessed shall we say so trying to calm down again. So just wondered if I could join you in here im not charting or anything just seeing what happens.

Clairey x

Tallgirl: I had a look @ your chart (hope u don't mind Big Grin) and it def looks like your body is gearing up to ov -- your temps are nice & steady the past couple of days (which 4 me they always are pre-ov) and your cm is def. looking fertile!! Big Grin The increased libido is also a sure-fire giveawy!!! lol Big Grin Keep on temping, some women have a dip in temp the day before ov -- my temps seem to stabilise and then increase slowly & then with ov suddenly jump massively. The more cycles u temp the more u will be able to identify your own idinvidual pattern. Just keep bd-ing -- fingers crossed that this is your month. Smiler

As 4 me, I am 8dpo but Frowner have no chance of a bfp this month as we didn't bd at the right time. I am just waiting for AF and continuing to chart so that I can work out patterns.

xx yaya

Hey claireyfairy!! I have no issue with anone posting anywhere.......peace and love and all that! Hope you guys get lucky quickly, its far less stressful that way.

Hmm, yaya girl that is also what I think. Also my cervix is more open the last few days (sorry, TMI) but that is usually a pretty good sign for me. Not sure about the libido though!! More that I know we should be shagging lots rather than always being in the mood. With a 19 month old I usually prefer sleep! But having lots of rude dreams...bizarrely - but quite pleasantly!! haha ;-)....which I think does seem to happen with me at ov time.

Blimey lady - your chart is crazy with all the supplements!! how do you keep up with them all? They reckon sperm lives for up to 7 days so there may be a teeny tiny chance this month but I agree, you are prob best not getting your hopes up and steeling yourself for next month. You seem to have pretty short cycles so at least you get another shot soon.

Mine are crazy after stopping the pill. I came off in october and haven't been using any contraception since then, but didn't start making a proper effort til nov/dec and it took me a couple of cycles to figure out I was ov ing as late as day 22. Used to ov around day 10/11 before the pill. I have only done one chart though but when I did it it made me realise that all the period pains I thought I was getting at that stage in my cycle were actually ov pains. So finding charting really useful and actually stops me stressing about it all. I think I may go and get my bloods done though if i don't get preg in a month or two just to check everything seems to be ok - after all you can start the process of bloods etc or even be referred to get help as early as 6 months if you have irregular periods, or 12 months if everything is regular. Given we are somewhere in between I reckon I will let my doc know things are not happening after 8-10 months and go from there. In the meantime...we're trying to chill and enjoy the fact we are bothering to have more sex than usual after having our son!!

haha tallgirl Big Grin YOU HAVE MADE ME LAUGH -- After last's night's fiasco it FEELS PRETTY DARN GOOD Big Grin Yes, I know I am a NUTTER about supplements -- I don't know myself how I manage to swallow all of the pills - it's pretty gross actually. However, I've def seen an improvement since doing it regularly -- my luteal phase has increased from 12 days to 14 days last month and spotting and AF have also improved. Some girls like to poas (yes, u lisajane -- where r u luv???) and some like to swallow a lotta pills!!

I came off bcp in September last year so we are at a similar after-pill phase. My AF's were worrying light up until my last cycle -- I think it's the effect of being on the pill. Also my cm has been very minimal -- hardly ever see ewcm -- this cycle i however got 2 days of it (pity we didn't bd Frowner) -- I trule believe it was the freshly extracted carrot juice that i started drinking this month. Smiler

I am a die-hard fan of charting (we can learn so much about our bodies) - and I agree with u, it actually makes things LESS stressful 4 me.

Have fun bd-ing! Big Grin

Yeah I find it fascinating too - and at least it saves me some money on stick peeing at the end of my cycle! My LP is usually about 12-3 days so if I manage to get to 14 then I would have a pretty good idea that something good could be happening.

Hows everyone else doing? Clairey - whereabout are you in the cycle? nadinec - how are the igloos ?!!!
Kat - how are you getting on?

Anyone else out there lurking?

If so you've got ten mins to say hello otherwise I should really stop nattering on here and go and wake up DS and get some lunch!
xx

That's exactly what we're doing kitkat taking it easy, dh gets a nark on anyway if we're having "baby" sex although he's getting better. No, I don't test for ov, just got some sticks tho off ebay so will use them next month, I suffer horrendously though, I get af pains for 3 days, pain in side of ov aswell, headaches, horrendous nausea, tiredness...... only since had ds though and come of pill, never used to have so hoping it goes after this month coz they say 3 months to get back to norm......fingers crossed!!!!!! SEe you soon, ds is waking up and he will want his dinner to!x
