Hi Im totally new to this but here goes... Im a mum to one monkey, shes five now and in desperate need of some company. Ive had the mirena in now for a year and a half and im getting it out next friday. I was just wondering if any 1 had any problems concieving after it was taken out? I have had quite regular periods on the mirena, ranging from 3 -5 weeks apart. Does that mean i havent stopped ovulating? I also found on the mirena i cramped down the left side of my abdomen often and was prone to polemic mood swings. nothing serious but it sure is annoying when you cant help but be angry. All i usually do is tell my bfd its just one f those days so he knows the deal. So if any1 can shed any light n my empending situation id appreciate ur observations and opinions!!
Hpefully you've seen the other posts about the Mirena but if not, just to let you know I had one for 4.5 years, didn't have an AF the whole time but pretty sure I was ov'ing (from the EWCM)and used to get sore BBs about the time that AF would have been due.
Anyway, I had my Mirena out on Sept 23, had a 2-day AF pretty much straight away, had another AF on 25 October then my BFP on 22 November!
