OK, I'm a little scared to start this thread as it's still early days for me. My name is Carolyn and I used to post here a while back. I still look at these boards from time to time.
Anyway, I had a miscarriage back in April of this year. After a natural bleed, we were released to start ttc again. I took an HPT on Wendesday last week and it was positive. After two beta tests, as of Saturday my pregnancy was confirmed. If all goes well this time, my EDD is May 13, 2006.
I am a bit nervous to post this because of what happened in April, but I'm hoping things go well this time.
Thanks! []

I remember you from the earlier threads, all I can say is well done you. It is so nice to hear stories like yours because they give hope to the rest of us TTC. I am 16DPO and I would love to join you on this brand new May thread but I think this cycle is bust.
Have a happy and Healthy 9 months to you and your DH and your little beanie..[]

I thought I'd come join you as I got my BFP on Sunday so its very early days for me too - Miajay kindly told me on another thread that my edd is 14th May - so I'm only about 4 weeks!
I can't quite belive it so will be testing again in a few days.
Has anyone had any "symtoms" (not sure that's the right word!) yet?
Baby dust to all (including the sticky stuff).

Many congrats Carolyn, Blump & Gwen. My EDD is 10th May. There's a really good site - www.babycentre.co.uk which gives you lots of info about the week that you're at, so it's worth registering for email updates.
Does this feel real for anyone yet? We had 4 pos tests and 1 negative one, and I still can't believe it. We've told a couple of people and have expected to be struck down for lying!

Well, 3 +tive tests later and its finally starting to sink in, oh and not to mention the fact that my bbs are huge (which actually makes a nice change for me!) and v sore...
Paggie, thanks for your suggestion on my other thread about saying you're on antibiotics as an excuse for not drinking... I went to the party last night and no-one batted an eye lid.
We haven't told anyone yet. We're going to tell my parents after we get back from hols - on 28 Sept - which is also my birthday, so double celebration.
My husband phoned our doctors to let them know (as there's lots of flapping ears at my work) so I've got an appnt to see the dr on 27 Sept []
Yes, its definitely starting to feel real!...
I don't suppose any of you know whether we're allowed to eat Dairylea?? (please say yes, please say yes, please say yes!!)
Hope you're all ok

Blump, Dairylea is fine!!! Just avoid anything unpasteurised. My midwfe did tell me that you can now buy some soft cheeses like Brie that have been pasteurised but you must check the packet (so I take it they aren't available from the deli counter.) Things like mayonnaise in jars is OK too as it is made from powdered egg, according to the midwife, but avoid the freshly made stuff.

Know what you mean though - I have had a craving for an old childhood snack - Primula cheese spread with ham on Ritz crackers! Mmmmmm. So guess what's on my list for the next Tesco shop!! You fill your boots!!! [] S xxx
