I would love to hear from parents who's midwifes have guessed the sex of the baby based on th heart rate. Just to see how accurate the guess was, and what the heart rates should be to assertain the sex.

I am 20 weeks on Friday, my baby's heart rate is 150.

i was told that my baby was definatly a girl by my midwife because it had a fast heart rate (160 rings a bell) and here i am sitting, playing with my five month old SON!!!!

I'm not a midwife so i cant tell but i dont think you can really tell what sex your child will be by its heart rate,
Sorry

Kell,

Thanks for letting me know, I will not rely on the information given. Funny though as I thought I was having a boy until the midwife said it could be a girl. Maybe my instincts are correct???

I can't wait for my little bundle of joy to join us on the 10th April 04. And I am also looking forward to a big surprise at the end of all the pain.

Just wait for a surprise and it will be more special!!

Danielle xx
