Hi Kate, I am still keeping my fingers crossed for you hun Big Grin, people get bfp when they least expect it.

On a different note, I know this is a strange queation but was it you who used to be a dental nurse? if so I have a sore tooth and jaw but can't see the dentist till monday any advice? I am absolutly petrified I have not been for about 8 yrs, feel sick at the thought of it. Need loads done

Anyway, take care

Hi Heidi (or should that be Heidi Hi Big Grin)

Yes, I was a dental nurse as was Lianne. Tooth ache can be so many things, but if your jaw is hurting too it might be an absess or sinisitus (sp?)

Does your gum feel swollen around the tooth? If so that would indicate a possible absess. If its extremely painful you can alternate paracetamol and ibuprofen every 4 hours. Otherwise tell your dental surgery you need an emergency appointment, they will always fit you in.

Hope that helps Smiler

Thanks Kate Big Grin
the tooth gum doesn't feel swollen, but I def need a filling. My whole jaw aches and it's making ny ears feel sore as well, think I will try the chemist , see what they have. Probably a combination of different problems. Feel really nervous of dentist though (I am convinced they are not human, lol)

Hello

Just a quicky, i've been browsing Baby Centre during my lunchbreak. Found a great thread on the ttc 6 months plus forum. It's a link of things the women did when they got their bfp. Some good tips Smiler

Thanks Big Mamma,

My mind is in turmoil.....again Roll Eyes I decided (like an idiot) to google rib pains, and after sifting through the domestic violence posts found tonnes of pregnancy posts. At first it was all third trimester posts, but then *da da da da daaaaaa* I found lots of links to early pregnancy posts, women saying that they suffered from rib pain from day 1 of their pregnancy.

My tummy feels very heavy today, aaaaaaaaaaagh, someone put me to sleep until tomorrow!!!! Gord, if I was reading this i'd hunt 'me' down and give 'me' a blummin good smack in the face Big Grin

Every month is the same, except most months dh and I have bd'd enough to be in with a good chance. This month we did it once. It was a well timed once, but it was a baby making unfriendly position, but I stayed legs up against the wall air cycling for 45 minutes.

Ok, i'm off. I'm driving myself potty. dh is on lates tonight so i'll be watching the new series of American Idol with laptop on knee, wow, spoilt for choice Big Grin

Good Morning

Well the saga continues Big Grin So far so good, *touch wood* no af yet. I have been running to the loo every 10 minutes to check. Wiping hard to see any signs of af, but nothing. In previous months I have spotting before af comes, the latest af shows is around 11am on cd32, but thats always after a day of spotting Confused

I am starting to get excited which is the worst thing to do. I know (and feel like) af could be with me in the next few hours. Got all sorts of thoughts running through my head.

Positive Points:

* Had no spotting yet, normally spot the day before af comes.

* bd'd on ov day, followed by 45 mins of legs up and air cycling.

* Had cramping and pulling since 6 dpo.

* Had a sharp pain on 6dpo

* Eyes have been sensitive and contact lenses been hurting.

* Boobs and nipples have been sore/sensitive

* Been mega tired in the afternoons and evenings for the past few days.

* When I got my bfn 2 days ago it was at 6pm so not with fmu.

* Feeling really sick this morning and couldn't finish my cup of tea.

Negative Points:

* Only bd'd once all month

* only bd was me on top, so not the best for baby making.

* Got bad, bad af cramps. They've been like this for the past few days.

* Got real heavy feeling in my tummy, like af feels.

* Had cramps in the top of my thighs which is a sure sign of af coming.

* Got a bfn when I tested 2 days ago with a FRER.

* Been moody and emotional like normal before af.

So, there we have it. I'm off for another wee now and a bit of frantic wiping. If I can get through today I will feel more positive.

Thanks girls for your hexes, keep'em coming I really appreciate them. Lisajane, thanks for the message.

Kate

KATE!

I'm on tenterhooks waiting to hear any news! i think things are looking very good for you, i really hope you're gonna be getting your bfp real soon.

your positive points all sound good! when you test early most of them say to use fmu but i've not used first response so don't know whether it applies to that one too, i think the early tests all say pretty much the same.

well its gone 11am so here's hoping hun!

Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

best of luck

Hi Girls

Just a quick update, still no af Big Grin

strong af cramps on and off, feeling tired and quite sick.

The oddest thing, I've just had a pot noodle (don't laugh, I actually really like them Big Grin) anyway,I couldn't taste the salt in it? I had one a couple of days ago and felt it was too salty, now I had the whole scahet of soy sauce and couldn't taste any salt????

I'm going out for a walk shortly, i'm thinking that if af is planning on visiting then a good long walk should kick her into action.

Thanks for the messages girls, I really appreciate the support.
