I found out i was pregnant with ds2 round about ds1's 1st birthday and i think the age gap worked quite well. I'm now expecting again with quite a big gap, but both ds's will be at school by then, so i'll have her all to myself![]
Good luck whatever you decide!

Hey Worzel... as the other girls have said...go for it! I was all ready to start trying when dd was 10 mths old but dh wasn't so keen. So we waited 'til she was 13 months and are still trying (have had a couple of m/cs) now shes nearly 22 months. Its been a bit of a shock as dd was conceived 1st try. Had wanted a smaller age gap and now we're looking at at least 2.5 years...hopefully won't get to 3! Best of luck whatever you decide xxxxxxx

thanks girls i think we will go for it ... but why is it taking so long for some of u as u have mentioned? the 1st baby for me came after 1 mth of trying ... so im assuming it'd be the same this time... im kinda worried now it may not be the case? i assume u all dont have fertility problems that explain the delay , so maybe i shud crack on with it ... incase!!
but how do u cope with it practically as in, cots, prams , as no.1 be little still??

Hi worzel - there is 18 months and 1 day between my first 2 and i really enjoyed having them so close together. I did have to have 2 cots for a short while and a double buggy but other than that it wasn't too much of a problem! I am now on no5, with no4 being almost 3 by the time it is born - would have liked them closer in age but took quite a while and 2 m/c's in between! So Good luck and get trying!!!

I became pregnant with No.3 when no.2 was 10 months. the are now 2 and 3 and most of the time play really nicely together. It is hard work in the baby stages, but I had over a 4 year gap between the first 2 and found that more of a shock as I'd forgotten about the sleepless nights etc.
