I am 2 days to 40weeks now. Ican't bear to see my little girl. I was trying hard to induce my delivery. I spoken to midwife about my wish to have early delivery. She advised me to eat more hot curry,or having sex with my partner could help to have early delivery. I have tried both methods , but it wouldnt work for me. I am expecting to see my midwife in the end of weeks 40 for some prostgladin gel. Hopefully it works. I find its hard to wait for the right time knowing when your baby is coming out,. Everyone is so excited to see my baby girl. I wish my baby is healthy,nothing more than I could ask for.
In the meanwhile, I was still frightening abt the painful parts of delivery. Hopefully, I could have pain-reflief- epidural to ease all my hard pains.

Hi My baby was 12 days late!! I was induced after ten but it took two days for the gel to work! I promise you that it is all worth the wait! I thought that the gel was never going to work but you will know when it does! I had an epidural for the pain and I couldnt feel a thing! only a slight tightening when a contraction came bt no pain at all. I know it is very exciting and you cant wait to see your baby but it will come in its own time! My labour was 19 hours but i slept through most of it because of the drugs!! it didnt feel that long at all.
Im glad that i had a date to go in and be induced because it meant i was completly ready for the birth. I sat in the babys nursery for hours the day i was going in- it is the last time you will ever get to be on your own! Good Luck!!
