hi there

i am now 19weeks and 3days and biggining to finally get some flutters. i am pg with no 3 and last time started to get flutters at around 14weeks. went to the doctors on thursday and dr tried to get heart beat and couldnt get one straigt away but had a scan at 12 weeks and everything was ok then!! dr finally found heart beat and said that she thinks that the placenta is lying on top of the baby so instead of being able to get the beat from the top of the belly had to get from either my side or the top of my uterus. bump now getting very big i look about 8months pg but do produce large babies both my girls were 9lb 3oz.

ooooooooouuuuuuuuuccccccccccchhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Hi Vicky,
I'm not sure if you believe in spiritual stuff but you could always visit a medium or spiritualist see what they can do or say.
I keep getting told dangle a orb thing over my belly if it swings clock-wise it was a boy, anti-clock wise a girl.
Theres always the if your bump is neat & petite its a girl, round & everywhere a boy.
If your put weight on mostly your bum its a boy & the more swollen ankles its a girl.
I grew up with lots of elderly women so little things like that were the whole conversation when i was round they.
Turns out i was very neat but large, my feet/ankles were a little swollen & i had a girl 9lbs 8 1/2oz. (i did cheat & find out the sex via a growth scan which i had done privately, thou have heard hospitals are now telling sexes if you ask)
Hope these help
All the best
Vicki

apparently if your bump is quite low and wide your having a girl, but if its high up and your really sticking out in front then its a boy. my bump was very high and i had a little boy, but inside i just knew, when people asked me what sex i thought the baby was i always said boy. heres another old wives tale, if you have a lot of heartburn (and i mean a lot) your baby will be born with a full head of hair, same thing happened to me again, people didnt believe me and said he would be bald but i was convinced and i was right. if you do find out the sex let me know x

forgot to say my, with mine i went 2 weeks over, i had to have a c-section and he finally came out (using forceps) weighing 10lb 5oz. i had a hard time carrying him. he wasnt fat just very long. some women come up to me with year old children and my 4 month old is bigger than them i cant believe how big he is. does this mean he's going to be tall
