Spring...

I didn't have the faintest idea! I remember being adamant that AF was on its way, and nothing was really different apart from temps, but had never temped before to know! Was gettng AF style cramps and was just waiting for her to show, but all my old buddies on 2ww (you know who you are) were telling me to test, so in the end I nipped out in my lunch hour and got a clearblue digital!

I was 13 DPO when I tested - we think! I was abroad when I ovulated and thought I had forgotten to pack my thermometer for the first week! lol Razzer

If you fancy seeing my preg chart (useless as it is) it is here:

Hi Spring in my experience it really varies.

I believe I have been pregnant four times all together, and twice I knew within maybe 2 days of conception, the first time I just knew - it was far too early for a BFP, and by the time I could've confirmed it I had a massive bleed, and obviously wasn't pg anymore!

Second time around I had really bad symptoms from almost the moment of conception, but didn't realise what the symptoms actually meant until AF was late - Drs told me there was NO WAY i was pregnant, and were treating me for inner ear problems instead - My daughter is now 3 and certainly NOT and Ear infection!

Third time around same symptoms as with DD started almost immediately PO, and I KNEW what it meant that time - had to wait for 15 days for BFP, and shortly after lost the baby in a car crash.

Am now pg again, and this time around I hadn't got a clue, only did a test because I didn't want the sudden shock of AF arriving after all my mates fell pregnant and I was gutted it wasn't me, so really big shock to get several BFPs! according to my dates I am now just shy of 11 weks, and can't wait to get my scan now to convince me I am not imgining this one because it is so different to the others!

Sorry to ramble, hope its of some help.

Take care

Cxx

Cludgie wow you've been through it!!

An ear infection??? How can they get it soooo wrong Big Grin

Congratulations on this one. I bet your really excited.

I've never been pregnant so i wouldn't know what it's like but after reading about that lady that knew an HOUR after conception i was really interested to know how she knew!

I haven't been feeling any different this month apart from a tightness/pulling feeling that i've never felt before but nothing that indicates to me anythings different.

Trouble is your mind plays tricks on you when you want something and gives you false hope!!

Good luck with everything xx

Am a bit too cautious at the mo to be excited, Just need a scan date now - can relax more after that hopefuly!

It did frustrate me with DD, as for weeks I had really bad vertigo, and could barely walk or see straight most of the time, and went to the DR and said we were trying could it be pregnancy related? Only to be told I was being stupid, and that it was an ear proble not a baby related one.

The worst bit was they gave me meds to treat it which you strictly shouldn't take if pregnant - luckily i had a rebellious moment and binned them because I was so angry with the DR (maybe i did know an a deeper level! lol) So it wasn't as much of an issue as it could have been.

Good luck with TTC I'll be keeping everything crossed for you!

hey spring.. sorry didn't see your reply

had been off the pill since the previous september so 8 months officially, although to begin with it was just not using contraception... however after I had been pregnant and miscarried we realised just how much we wanted it and got serious!
If you have a look at my blog (link below) it gives you a brief rundown...
