Hi, I'm supposed to be flying to Australia to visit my inlaws when my baby will only be 1 month old. I'm a bit worried about it - is it too young to take a baby on a plane. Has anybody travelled with a very small baby - help I need advice!

As long as your organised it's not a problem travelling with a baby. You need to either breastfeed or give him a bottle on take off and landing as the sucking stops their ears hurting. Let the airline know you're travelling with a baby so you get a bulkhead seat and a travel cot. Take lots of nappies and changes of clothes. Turn off the air vent above your seat. Believe me it's a lot easier now then when they're toddlers Wink

Oh, I forgot to say - don't forget to get your baby a passport or have him added to yours.
