Hi Billy, just had to post something for you because I know exactly how you are feeling. We both know each others story and I don't know about you but after the miscarriage one of my first thoughts, stupid I know, was oh no I have to start all over agin. It took us twelve long months of trying to get there and then for it all to end like that i was devastated. It was nearly embarassing for me to come back on here after failing, bad word I know, but thats how it felt!

Since then I've really watched from afar as I just can't go back on the ordinary TTC thread as i find it so hard to see people who have only been ttc for a few months or evn weeks get there BFPS. Sometimes I just feel like screaming why can't it just be me!! Why can't we be the ones to get pregnant and god Forbid stay pregnant. Its just so hard.

Basically the reason for this post is to let you know that you certainly are not alone in your thoughts and don't feel bad about feeling jealous for all those lucky people who seem to fall pregnant without even thinking about it. After all we've been through I think we deserve a bit of selfishness and no-one especially not anyone who has had trouble conceiving could begrudge you that...

Anyway I hope you start feeling better soon and was wondering if maybe some of us old timers should start a new thread of some decription, I know the 12+ thread is there but it seems to be sort of defunct at mo. What you think?

Lilysue, I think we met briefly on the ttc thread but just wanted to say I understand what you have posted.

I was thinking of joining the ttc 12 months+ thread if i'm allowed

I have nothing against any of the great girls on the ttc thread but the pma takes a bit of a battering sometimes. Maybe a ttc 6+ months thread might be a bit busier? Just a thought.

Hi Kate, nice to meet you, so to speak. Think this thread will probably pull a few old timers out of the woodwork. Of course you can join the TTC 12+ crew but as said it can go weeks between posts which isn't really ideal. Just post whenever. I think TTC 6+ is a good idea as its probably at this point that people start to feel frustrated and as you say would be busier.

Will guage what Billy and few of the others think, SJ I know you'd be up for it? and all my old girlies such as Dats and Sue I know you are all still lurking!!

billy...you have been a great sorce of comfort over the years to me, as have most of the 'old timers' on here and please dont give up, easy words to say i know, but it will happen i didnt even no it had, id stopped charting, temp taking, cervix feeling (yuk) and wham, then it happens...love you girl xx

Billy - just a little note of support. It is difficult I know to see the 2wwers nipping off left right and centre to join due in threads - and I know that I didn't have to try as long as you have been but I do understand some of what you are going through - it's been a tough 3 years for DP and I on the TTC front - just when we thought we had cracked it we lost out and so on - and often the mood on the ttc for 12 months and over can be so low (no offence to anyone but we all got pretty despondant at times on there) then you look at mantha and myself and now most amazingly Cathy after all she went through and it must seem so unfair to you that we haven't waited as long or maybe not suffered as much. All i can say is we are only ever dished out as much as we can handle - and what doesn't kill us makes us stronger - and - sorry Cathy to use you as an example - but honestly her experiences have meant she is better equiped to deal with the crap she has now been dished out by a crappy OH - a less strong Cathy may have given in to him or may have lost the plot entirely - which we can all see is not the case - good on ya Cathy!

What I am getting at (apart from bigging up Cathy! ) is that you will find a way to come out the other side of this however long it takes and whatever the outcome. We women are complex but robust. We're all here to support you and I just wish I'd found this site sooner when I struggled so hard in the early months waiting for that all important BFP (or even 12 weeks scan on 2 occasions). I had to do the bulk of it alone until i found this place - don't suffer alone when you don't need to - we're all here for you - cheerleading from the side lines xxx

I completely understand your need for a bit of time off the boards.... Really hope you dont stay away too long.. were all here for you if you want to natter, vent etc... PM even if youdont want to go on the boards. - as usual im cack with words.. just wanted you to know you're missed on the ttc thread!

Im now in my 8th month of trying - i dont know where the time has gone... each bfp gets harder to swallow when were still on the same old board.. but our time will come Daniel-san! the bfps are proof of that.. especially Cathys, manthas etc...... i think a 6month + thread is a fab idea

Anyway... im rambling again!.....dont stay away too long
