Just a quick suggestion. Forget about the disposable knickers - they never fit and would probably be better used as shower caps!!
Instead, use your old knickers, and then afterwards treat yourself to some lovely new ones!!! (or better still get someone else to treat you to some lovely new ones!!)
Have fun!!

I found this list really helpful, it was in the back of a magazine from Boots.
Birth plan/notes Camera Change for the phone/tv
T-shirt for labour Front opening pj's for after birth Slipper socks Old knickers Nursing bra Towel Clothes for going home
Shampoo & showel gel Hairbrush & ties Toothbrush & paste Flannel Breast pads Maternity pads Antibacterial wipes Cotton wool Nappies Wipes (if you are going to use them)
3-4 Sleepsuits 3-4 Vests 2-3 Bibs 2 Scratch mitts Shawl/blanket Clothes for going home
If you need anything else your partner could always bring it along for you if you are kept in longer.
I personally found slippers & dressing gown a waste of space in my already huge bag. I never wore either as I used slipper socks & it was warm on the ward for the babies anyway so a dressing gown wasn't needed, infact it was boiling & it was middle of November!
I agree with the disposable knickers aswell, they are a waste of time. They never fit & are so horrible to the touch I wouldn't want to wear them anyway!
I'd also recommend getting some Arnica tablets & Badidas gel along with paracetamol/co-codomol stocked up at home for the next week or so - they really do help if you keep yourself topped up every 4-6 hours. The gel is really nice in the bath, its quite soothing for your lady bits!
Hope this helps anyone who is struggling on what to pack.

maternity pads black pants flip flops lucozade drink (with a straw so you can still drink when on all fours) and tablets face wipes antibacterial wipes (hospital bathrooms in maternity wards are not known for their cleanliness and i also liked to wipe up after myself when i dripped blood everywhere - sorry if tmi) dark pjs (with vest top for bfing and also cos maternity wards are boiling) dark dressing gown lip balm or vaseline arnica tablets lavender oil to help you get some sleep shower gel and shampoo make up for those first photos hair brush, bobbles, grips, alice band - anything to keep your hair off your face basically
face wash toothbrush/toothpaste deodorant nappies cotton wool vests baby gros hat blanket camera watch to time contractions with books, magazines snacks change
A few things I wouldn't bother with are hat for baby as it is very hot in hospital, nappy cream as babies dont tend to get nappy rash as such a young age and baby nail scissors as when a baby is born their nails are stuck to their fingers so can not be cut for a few days.
A few thing that you have missed are change for the phone and a list of phone numbers for DH to call as they forget there own phone number at that stage.
You won't really need bottles and milk as they are provided by the hospital.
I defo agree about the disposable knickers best just to go to Asda and get a pack of 3 value knicks for £1.
Good luck to you all with you babies.
