Hi girls Been reading your fascinating comments on AC. I've been takin it on and off for 4 months, I take the liquid form and I use it to regulate my hormones because I have endometriosis, however its interesting to note that I didn't OV last month or three months previous to it, so I'm beginnng to wonder now if no OV was caused by the AC. I was quite upset that last month my cycle was 17 days with no ov, quite out of the blue. Even though the two previous cycles had been fine the 3rd one prior to it had also been 17 days with no ov. I admit I wasn't advised that this was a side effect by my consultant.....I'm totally miffed now to be honest. As I'm in the middle of TTC this is yet another concern to be thought upon. Thanks for your info girlies....very enlightening!!!!!! I suppose this month may tell me what I need to know, as I'm waiting for OV any day now. Talia. xxxx

For those of you considering AC, I found this website I thought might be useful. http://womens-place.com/ttc/vitex.php#recipe1 I am on my third cycle of using AC and will continue for a few months more. I went from having periods ranging from 9 to 57 days apart. I started taking AC in April and my first cycle was 35 days, second cycle was 28 days and am currently on CD25 with AF pains so I figure she will arrive by Sunday. I take one 500mg pill every morning with a glass of water. I started taking my temp this cycle, not quite sure how to read it, but I'm not willing to give up on it yet! Jilli

This post is for jacq777 on the 2WW thread. I took one tablet of Vitex Angus Castus for 3 months straight through. I had a progesterone test done and my gyne told me that I wasn't OVing. I found Vitex at the local GNC store and started taking one each morning. Your burps taste awful, so make sure that you have something to eat after you take it. Anyway, I started temping on the third cycle and my chart did confirm that I did OV. I stopped taking the Vitex to see if my body was regulated and could OV on its own. I am proud to say that I have continued to OV each month and I have about 8 months of charts with bipasic temps on each one. Good luck girl. Love & Babydust, Jilli

Hiya! Wow isn't AC popular??? I've stopped taking the liquid form of it and started to use the pill form as I found that I was going through the liquid really quick. I can usually now pinpoint when I ovulate which is quite good. On the downside my father passed away last week so with all the stress things have been all over the place. Really sad that he didn't get to see me with a baby.
