I had a 4d scan when I was 28 weeks, it was fab and i would really recommend them. I went to a company called take a peek in st helens, i see your in wigan so it wouldn't be too far. They have a website www.takeapeek3d.co.uk. which shows the various packages.
Hope you enjoy it..

Hi. I think Hells is right in terms of timescales. They are fab, I think the only downer is if bubs isn't playing ball on the day you go - ie covering their face or facing the wrong way, in which case it would be a bit of a let down. Hope you get a good view!

Hi Kirsten!! I really want one aswell...its just convincing Dh that it is worth it!!!! I will be 28 weeks on my birthday so thinking i will get one done as my pressie! Cant wait! Oh, and i am going to go to babybond in manchester..has anyone been there? what is it like there? Emma. x
I had one done at 28 weeks, and I have to say Emily really wasn't playing ball, but it was still amazing if you ask me! She spent most of the time asleep with her arm in front of her eyes, but I was still gobsmacked! Tip for you - have a bottle of full fat coke or doctor pepper or something about an hour before you go - it is said to wake the baby up with all the sugar! I had mine on the way and she was certainly waking up at the end - kept punching the scanner!
We are down south and this is the company we used :
didnt have one done before, but i have hard wonderful things im getting mine between week23-33, as i will prob ask the sex in my normal scan, i will book the 20-23 week scan if my normal scan cant see the sex of the baby
