I talked to my nice employment solicitor i hired a while ago and they advised that as there has been a verbal contract for me to start at the council, they would be forced to keep to their word.
I called them and the lady that hired me was brilliant, she was so nice and said that there is no way that it will effect there offer and it still stands but they will put safety procedures in place for me to start work.
I am so pleased now I just hope Stephen comes round to the idea a bit more.
Oooo, before I forget, do you have any cosy toes anymore? I need one for the winter for Gracie.

Thanks Lorraine I will have a look in sec, I love cosy toes, Grace is too big for a blanket now in her pushchair.
Rachael-Jade - Thank you for that. I thought you are entitled to mat pay if you have been working for 26 consecutive weeks before your baby is due as long as you earn over a certain amount a week. I hope that is the case as I will have to go back to work asap.
