Hi I am 23 and i haven't had any luck with no2 since i came off the depo provera.I had my 1st shot in Feb 01 and the last in Oct 01.We've been trying since i had my last shot and nothing. I know exactly how u guys r feeling, the frustration is unbarable. After 2yrs of trying we have now been referred to the fertility clinic. If i knew then what i know now about the depo i would NEVER have gone on it. I've been suffering from migraines, weight gain, since going on the depo. I've been taking folic acid since we 1st started trying, i've also been losing weight and eating more fruits. Hopefully our daughter will have a liitle sister that she has longed for and i wish all of u guys the very best of luck.

hi im expecting my third baby in august,i had my last depo shot in sept 2002 and it took me until nov 2003 to have a normal bleed. i fell pregnant on christmas eve 2003 i wasnt expecting it at all as i was convinced i would never get my fertility back!! i would NEVER have the injection again, two close friends of mine have had to have clomid fertility treatment to conceive after coming off depo as their systems needed a kick start again.
dont give up hope, just know that it will happen unfortunately its just one of lifes waiting games.
Good luck,keep trying!!! xxxx

I am 34, 35 next month and have been trying for a second baby for 2 months. I fell pregnant with my daughter 8 years ago in the first month of trying and thought it would happen just the same this time. The thing is I live in Spain with my new partner of 3 years and my daughter and crave English contact for support and advice. I am also in a very stressful job so any advice on de-stressing may help. Look forward to hearing from you and it's nice to know I'm not the only one feeling dessapointed at not catching first time.

Hi, just thought that I would share how I got pregnant with my 1st baby...after my partner had ejaculated and come out of me i put pillows under my bum to raise it so the lil blighters knew which way they were going lol, and then I made myself orgasm as this also helps bring the sperm up the vagina.
Well there ya go hehe. Have fun trying all of you, even though my baby girl is only 15 weeks old, I would love to have another...mad aren't I!!
Good luck my fingers are crossed!!!

the depo is awful sorry to hear ur all having hardly any luck but i've read alot about the depo and expierienced it first hand and it can take 12-18 months to leave ur system it took 18 months to leave my system and it took my cousin 6 months it just varies from person 2 person
if ur overweight try losing weight as losing weight then coming off the diet boosts ovulation wot proudmummy said is also said to work + the other is going on the oral pill for 3 months coming off having the blleed then waiting for what they call a real period or a second period then trying from there hope these ideas work for u
i was overweight and i'd stopped ovulating i went on slimfast lost 2 stone and i'm now 3 months pregnant
keep ur chin up and keep trying
good luck

I'm sorry to hear that things aren't happening the way you had hoped. I have just come off the pill to start trying for a baby and am really trying not to get my hopes up that anything will happen for a while. It seems a bit unfair in a way that you might spend years trying not to get pregnant and then when you start trying thinks don't work out the way you had planned
I have heard that one of the worst things to do when trying for a baby is get stressed about it but I guess that might be easier said than done because I have to admit I know that I will get upset if I keep coming on month after month.
Lisamarie,
Congratulations on your pregnancy, it's really great to hear about when things go well in the end.
Take Care Carrie

I remember it well - we tried for 2 years before finally getting pregnant....soul destroying. I'm a whole lot older than you though - I'm 36 and I guess that was partly the problem!
Anyhow - here's what we did just before we finally achieved what we thought was impossible!!..
1. I took a herb called angus castus (sometimes called vitex), this instantly changed my monthly cycles from over 70 days to 34! You can get it from health food shops - but you need over 1000mg a day, so check the strength!
2. I stopped using my laptop computer (which I used to sit for hours on my abdomen. I don't know if this has any effect on those womenly parts - but I decided that it probably wasn't doing any good - even if it was doing no harm!
3. I increased my intake of b vitamins.
I don't know which of these if any worked for me - or if it was just my turn...
Good Luck!
Jules
