To be honest Maria, the kitchen is the one place that I am up to date, its all my office work that I am getting behind on. I am paranoid about them finding a reason to fire me, very easy to do with all the health and safety laws, and also the company procedures, if you dont tick all your boxes, dot your i's cross your t's they could have you on the streets in no time!

I actually have lost my appetite, everything makes me feel uncomfortable at the moment, I have to force myself to eat, otherwise I just wouldnt. I'll have an apple and just feel soooo bloated that I feel like I have to roll around! Its a bit bizarre, I have to roll out of bed in the mornings now too! I just feel like a big lump! I dont mind though, it means that DH has to tie my shoe laces and stuff!!!! [Big Grin][Big Grin][Big Grin]

you are right Maria, its all about taking our time.... if they are going to ask us to do crappy work then they will have to expect that it takes us a bit longer than the average person Smiler

I think I only have 7 weeks and 3 days left of work!!!!!!! Oh my god!!! I am going to have such a sleep !!!!!!

how long for you Maria??

Hi Jo, Look at us all fretting today about stuff!! Me the most.
Maria I probably will stay on here, we are an industrial machininery dealer so its a bit of a mans job but we'll see.

When i used to traips round i used to make loads of stops. get all my personal jobs done as well. why not!

Yeah we have decided on Evan. Its the only name me and DF both like, I chose it so he gets to choose the middlename.

I wish I was finishing work in 7 weeks. That would be brill, but unfortunatly I have got.... hang on let me count... 13 weeks of work left!! oh my god thats ages. Are you lot applying for the family working tax credit thing. Who gets that?

Hi everyone

Just to say havent forgotten you all, have just been a complete zombie lol as still have this probs with my wound. You sound like you are all getting to the really uncomfortable stage. I had to learn quite a few funny manoevres to get outta bed in the last 8-10 weeks.

EB - Im in Luton. You wont be far away if you move to Leighton Buzzard. My sis used to live in Linslade.

About moses baskets, I find mine brill cos I can move it from room to room and she can sleep in it. She also loves her bouncer tho although not when on vibrate. She does however seem to find herself in some wonderful positions and there are saliva marks all over sides of her basket, so I now put her in her cot overnight and sleep on a mattress on floor to side of her. She likes this as we leave landing light on and she can look at me from her cot. She did this a lot in hospital. We bought a trio mattress from Toys r Us which was 65 not 75 and its great as 2 layers come off so you can actually wash and tumble dry the cover.

Anyhow, I best go get sorted out. HV coming soon. I meant to say if anyone wants pics of Lauren email me: ebay@quality-bargains.co.uk
Taje care, thinking of you.
Deb x

13 weeks isn't long nic, waw, we're all gonna have babies soon!!!!!!!

hi deb, glad to hear things a little better for you. what a nightmare tieing shoe laces is now!!!!!!

Tax credits don't get me started on them, what a con they are, they not giving you much basically if your married or living with someone, you'd be better off financially if you were single, what a joke!!!

we looked into them quite a lot, we get 390 a year approx!!! that's whether i work or not!!! and we don't get any working tax credit at all, just child tax credit.

Hi Maz

DH and I looked in to tax credits.I just get child tax credit. I have had conflicting amounts quoted by people on the helpline so I will get either 45 a month or 86 - peanuts. i think you get 10 a week baby part till they are a year. Its so frustrating as she is mixed fed and needs nappies and with all her other bits it will go nowhere. Thats if it had come thru! I sent it off when she was a week old. I asked what help we would get with nursery and they said nothing cos my hubby on a high income. Hes only on a high income cos he does all the hours under the sun because we are so short of money. Plus to get that 'high income' he leaves house 5am drives 2 hrs to work and gets back 6pm after driving 2 hrs home. Please excuse me moaning but I dont think they understand he and I have own houses and own cars etc. So anyhow unless I can get a job on 25-30k a year I wont be able to go back to work. I guess many of you are in same position.

Anyhow, best get sorted for HV. I have been at pc since I last posted.

Love Deb x

we are in much the same position i will be working for about 90 a month if i go back 3 days, with nursery fees and stuff. its an absolute joke.

My friend said she went to baby massage classes and everyone in there got free toothbrushes for baby because they were poor and she was the only one who didn't get one, she said to the teacher..... but they are wearing better designer clothes than i am!!!!!! which was true but she still didn't get one, it doesn't matter about toothbrush but it is the principle don't you think!!!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry i havent been on today but i have been really busy at work.
Still so excited from seeing baby yesterday as she looked so cute!!!
Definately looks like scott though as you can tell she has his nose already.

Good news on my Antikell blood thing as the consultant came into speak to me and said he had actually spoke to a few different consultants about me. He said they all think that there is no chance of this passing to baby so i havent to worry anymore but he is happy to keep doing the scans every 4 weeks just for peace of mind coz i still have the antibody. How good did i feel when he said that, i couldnt say thanks enough as he has went out of his way to find out all about it for me as he said, i could tell you were worried sick!!!

Nic, my bump is still very small and i mentioned this at the hospital yesterday, and the scanner lady said that the baby is lying with her spine against mine, which is why im only feeling her move and not kick so much just now. She said im never going to be massive and she said not to worry as everyone is different.

Maria i think you should sit with your feet up for the rest of the day eating chocolate shots, i must admit im starving as well today but i have just realised that i havent eaten yet. Im with Jo on the whole appetite thing just now as im just not ever hungry unless i end up forgetting and then i end up starving. I know i should eat small and regularly but with me having IBS, I get alot of pain when I eat so sometimes its best not too.

Debs, its lovely to hear things are going well with lauren, i would love to see pics of her so i will email you from home later if thats okay.

On the scott situ, i still dont know whats happening, he was all emotional yesterday and stuff but im treading carefully and im still at my mums so we will see what he does from now on, as i said, he has alot of making up to do. Plus my main priority is now my baby girl, not him and his selfish ways, but i still love him to bits, so i can only live in hope that he sorts this mess out.

Nic, please send pics of baby Evans nursery as i would love to see what it looks like, you are all so lucky to be decorating, my poor wee girl will have to sleep with me in my room till i get something sorted out. But my mum is getting my room all decorated and new furniture and things for me just now to help me feel better. Im still spoiled and im 25!! But thats what we will be like soon Girls.

Sorry for the ramble but im so excited,

Take Care

Lisa xxx

It doesnt seem very long at all does it 7 weeks, 10 weeks then 13 weeks, it will fly by. I think about when we all started on this thread all those weeks ago!! even my last scan seems like ages ago!! cant wait for the next one, will be almost time to meet my baby then!!!

I am trying to not even think about what I'm going to do after maternity leave, I am banking on DH getting himself a fab job with oodles of money, so we can afford things, but to be honest I'm really not bothered worrying about it all, I am just concentrating on getting baby boy into this world safe and soundly. The way I see it, if I'm going to get into a big pile of debt, I couldnt think of a better reason than my son [Big Grin][Big Grin] made me smile typing the words "my son" Smiler

Hello

Hope you all had nice weekend, i've emailed baby pics (twice I think, sorry - not very technical). Congrats of baby girl news Lisa, pics of you were lovely, you look so young.

feeling better but now have a cough that sounds like a seal and morning sickness has crept back on me particularly around 10.30/11pm. I'm not eating late or to excess so can't explain it, I ended up not eating for 14 hours coz of it.

Everyone seems to be getting so organised with decorating baby rooms getting baby stuff etc. I need to get sorted out. My mum showed me that Additions direct have nice baby stuff and maternity wear.

Aly x
