its been a busy afternoon here, everyone posting like crazy.

Took me 2 hours to clean up kitchen, I can sympathise with you Jo. Men are useless - they expect praise for remembering to put toilet seat down. Cleaned kitchen to Robbie Williams greatest hits, alex shares b/day with him 13th Feb.

Lisa, was trying to find words of wisdom to help with your situation and I can't really think of anything, except as soon as baby is born he will be proud as punch and will be strutting around taking glory of being new dad, then you can give him a big punch for being so stupid for what he's put you through now, I know its not an excuse but maybe he's nervous about being a parent. I know that when I was pregnant first time and about a year after my husband acted as if he was a batchelor, I spent months on my own at home when we should have been enjoying the last few months of it just being the two of us. He was off hill walking, nights out, training at gym, running etc, etc and I just felt like a neglected blob. Things are better and different this time.

Good luck

Aly

My friend bought me a lovley outfit for baby evan (i think thats what he is going to be, me and df have finally agreed on one name we like). Its little and blue and so gorgeous.
Im getting exited now abou having my boy here.

So how is everyone this morning? A bit more awake?
I went to b&q last night and chose my border. Its a beige teddy bear one and its lovely. We gonna finish the painting tonight as we didnt do it last night coz i was so goosed.
So my baby room looks like its finally coming together, just got to get the furiture in there now.
My isabella shelf came, and its going right back to the shop!! The workmanship on it was horrendous! and the pine bit at the top had snapped off. so i wouldnt buy anything online from babies r us if i were u coz i was so disappointed.

Feeling the nip in the air now, think autumn is on its way!! got my scarf on today xx

Good Morning everyone,

Sorry to hear your feeling tired Nic, Im okay on the tiredness front this week but last week I was shattered the whole week.

I never sent any pics either, sorry but i was out doing nails again last nite, but i promise i will sent some tonite too as it will be nice to put a face to everyone's name.

Is everyone still eating lots, I have actually went off my food again although im not feeling sick, i just dont feel like eating, the only thing I seem to like just now is hot chocolate fudge cake.

So how big is your bump now Nic, have you put on much weight.
I have a wee bump but to be honest im still in all the same clothes as i was wearing before hand. Well except for my work trousers as they dig in so i bought a bigger size and you should see them they look hideous.

Hope everyone else is feeling okay today.
Thanks everyone for your kind words yesterday regarding the scott front you really did help cheer me up [Smiler]

Take care

Lisa xxx

Im just trying to guess what im having by asking u girls what your bumps are like as i know most of you are having boys. I still think most days im having a girl, i will be wrong though....

I cant wait only 4 days to do till monday, then its scan time, my appointment is at 2pm so i will post when i get home at let everyone know. Hopefully everything will be okay as they will be checking everything out coz of this blood thing, so fingers crossed everything is as it should be.

hi everyone Smiler

busy day for me today, they all seem to be busy these days!

Sorry about your shelf Nic, that is crap, you get all excited about something and then it has to be ssent back. But it sounds like your boys nursery is coming along quick, and it wont be long till you have a little man to fill it !!!

Maria..... Men!!! is all I can say "chunkier" indeed, they just dont have a clue do they [Smiler] They only really have one job when their partner is pregnant and that is to make sure you are happy!! and seriously its not too hard, I know I can be won over with flowers and choccies, and the odd out of the blue compliment, but Chunkier..... NO!!!!

Now who mentioned chocolate fudge cake..... Lisa you little devil, its all i can think about now!!! Anyway, glad you are looking forward to your scan, 4 days!!! the weekend will fly by Smiler My boy bump, is very spread out, and I just look fat, but old wives tales say that if the bump is high and sticks out alot then is a boy, but if more rounded and out to sides then a girl, but we all know what to think of old wives Smiler You will know on Monday!!! YIPPPPPEEEEEE[Big Grin][Big Grin][Big Grin]

Hope everyone else is well

Make sure your employers are nice to you cause I had a bit of a scare yesterday. Dealing with a lot of not very fun stuff at work right now has been stressing me out, and yesterday I had a bad headache all day. Didn't think much of it until I got home, sat down, and then started seeing these swirly swimming spots. I knew that was a problem so I looked some stuff up and sure enough those are two signs of pre-eclampsia. I called NHS Direct for advice, and when they called me back, they were going to call me an ambulance! I'm like, it's okay, DH can take me when he gets back from walking the dog!
So we went in, and my first blood pressure reading was high for me (though not in the pre-eclampsia range) and then it went down as we waited there. So I am absolutely fine but was told to take a few days off of work. Means, of course, that I am not there to deal with the stuff that is stressing me out, but I am trying not to think about it as we all know some things are more important...
Luckily the bump seems happy enough, lots of movement and DH able to feel some of it as well.
Bought myself a body pillow today as friends keep telling me how great they are for sleeping - will test it out tonight. Going to relax more tomorrow and then see some friends in Wales for the weekend which will also be good and non-work-related!!

Hi everyone

I think I've got flu, just don't feel well - not baby related.

Found a nice website www.TickerFactory.com go to the pregnancy heading and put in your details. Save the link to your favourites. Its a pregnancy countdown thing and I've 136 days of pregnancy left to go.

Aww Eb, and Aly, I am sorry you are not feeling great. That must have been a bit of a scare eb, at least you are taking a few days to recoup a bit, and bump is fine Smiler It can be tricky trying to balance a normal working life when pregnant, because you just, or even I, havent realised how much being pregnant takes out of you. I am just glad that it wasnt pre eclampsia eb. Take care of yourself, and I hope work stress can sort itself out for you.

Hi Aly, sorry to hear you are feeling ill too, any chance of you putting your feet up?? I hope so Smiler Thanks for the website I have 113 days left Smiler

Right time for my bed! reprobabtes in the pub kept me late [Frowner!][Frowner!]

3 days to go Lisa!!!!!!!!

xx
