Hello Girls

How are you all feeling? Im just abit tired for a change today so having an easy day at work at my desk with a nice cup of tea.
Me and df told my grandparents last night about the baby and they are over the moon, they cant wait to be grandparents.

Hi Karen and Congrats to you and your pregnancy. is this your 2nd child then? How are you feeling?

We are moving house next week, we only live in an apartment now and there will be no room for a little one so we have bought a house instead. Will be moving the weekend after next. Cant wait at last room for all my shoes, not that I can actually wear them at the moment because i have bad back ache. Do you lot get it aswell? It bloody murders!!

Any way i'll stop waffling now

8 weeks gone now and finding it very difficult not to tell people. I had a few REALLY bad days last week where I could barely get out of bed/off the couch including 2 sick days off work, and you come back and everyone asks how you are. I keep saying that I am just run down and fighting something off (as that's actually how it feels to me! dealing with the alien life form!) but I wish I could just tell people the real reason as they probably think I am having duvet days for no good reason. And we would love to tell the family who will be excited I think but just aren't going to yet. This is all new and what if it suddenly goes wrong? [xx(]
So then I feel good today compared to last week and start wondering if that means bad things are happening. And again no one to talk to about it so at least there are forums like this!
I haven't been vomiting but I have had a lot of general nausea and not being able to eat quite a few things. Even crackers tasted funny the other day. But again today all feels almost normal and I might actually be getting some vitamins in! I have found for some reason that chocolate and ice cream have been going down no problem [Big Grin] very very bad of me.

Hi Eb

Well i am on my 6th week of pregnancy now and i look like a pale, hairy jordan. My boobs are rock hard and very sore.
Some days I have LOADS of symptoms and other i am totally fine.
I think its just the roller coaster of being pregnant. But as long as we are all here for one another then I think we will be fine.

How is everyone else, its been a bit quiet

Hope your all ok
xx

Hi everyone

I cant get over the total exhaustion Im feeling at the moment, the bloating and the huge appetite...

Its really hard to know whether this is all normal or wot - especially if you have nothing to compare it with. Is anyone so totally bloated that theyre beginning to wonder how may babies they are actually carrying - lol! Smiler

Nicola - hope you got on okay at the doc today - Im going tomorrow and feeling nervous about it though not excatly sure why - what happened?

Hi

I had very bad constipation early on when I was taking Pregnacare. I went back to just folic acid in the end and that helped. Still get it occasionally now. My mum was regularly seen bringing me over masses and masses of prunes etc. I also lost almost a stone because of how sick I was and off food. I also had a nasty cough and virus a couple of times. Now I think Im almost back up to what I was before I got pregnant (although I could do with losing 2/3 stone anyhow).

I felt exhausted at in the first trimester, and better in the second. Now I am 27+5 and feeling tired again. Hits you so fast doesnt it?

Debs

Morning everyone,

There goes another 12 hour sleep last night and Im still tired and constipated. ah we11..

Wend it was pibbles who is going to docs today not me hun x

Emm i came off the pill in November after being on if since I was 17. My periods were pretty hectic so I wanted to wait until they calmed down before we tried. After myself and DF being apart for 3 weeks as I went on holiday with my family and he went snowboarding, we came back at the beginning of April and BAM first month after lots and lots and lots (we were apart for 3 weeks) of BDing I got a BFP 3 days before my period was due. My boobs were massive and even though I wear a sports bra to do aerobics in i was still in pain with them so i knew somat was happening. DF is over the moon and so am I. We are just trying to finalise the house now. suppose to be moving in in 2 weeks so fingers crossed. xx
its so hard managing when one of you isnt going to be working. I have recently finished university and havent worked for long so money is bit tight anyway. But DF is 32 and we decided to have children before I kick off my career so he is still young when they are a bit older. But i suppose we will manage! Will have to just stop buying clothes and shoes, it will be hard hehe.

So i am 5 weeks and 2 days now. this is the slowest pregnancy known to man! I am so impatient.

How are the rest of you today, Joeyjo not heard off you for a few days, how are you?[Big Grin]
