hiya lovely mummies

hope everyone is ok, I have been having a rough time of it. me and ant do nothing but bicker at each other. i am still bleeding, my gp has said it must have been where we had sex and i irritated something. serves me right!! wont be doing that again in a hurry. so bed rest for me, which is near impossible, as you all will know! thing is ant isnt doing anything to help matters. he is still being good with Aus, but just doesnt seem to get what I am going through. I feel totally neglected and not looked after. Is anyone else feeling like this? Its as if everything I have ever been insecure about or vulnerable about has been highlighted, and I just feel so insecure about myself, like I have no confidence. which is not like me, I have always been full of beans. I am hoping its just my hormones and will pass.

Moan over!!

Glad lovely Evan, is being a lovely baby, and glad to hear things are settling down for you Nic, I know that those first few days/weeks are chaotic, and it is such a relief when it starts to calm. I bet you are doing a fab job.
How is Ben doing? I hope that he is feeding ok for you Maria, and the colic has settled somewhat. Nothing worse than a puking baby, sends me into a panic with Aus, he seems to be a fussy boy, he literally turns his nose up at anything that isnt fresh breast milk. He doesnt seem to like even refridgerated breast milk, maybe I dont get the temperature right.... he doesnt like the formula I have tried either. I am supposed to me going out on sat night, for the first time but if I cant get him to drink anything other than breast milk, it could be another alcohol free night for jo!

Well done to you Lisa, I had one bottle of beer last week, and felt sooooooooo bad for it afterwards! Glad you had a good night out though, and good to hear that lovley Jemma is settling down a bit on the sleeping front. Austin is stil the same, he will feed at 8ish then again at 11 ish then again 2ish then he is ok till 6/7 which is a real blessing! and then he is up at 9 and wide eyed. I am trying to make sure he has a bedtime routine, and there is no fuss during his night feeds, and also making sure he is having his long day naps earlier in the day rather than later as I read that babies process what has happened to them during sleep, so if they process too much during the day, or early evening, they dont have enough to process at night time sleeps, if you know what I mean! So I am trying these things out. I will let youknow if anything works!!

Hope you are ok Aly. and baby bobbys is ok too. Let us know as soon as you can. Lots of love to you and your family.

Hi Bonio, hope you and lovely Freddy are doing ok. Keep us updated if you can.

Pics pics pics, I want more baby pics!! I want to see allyour beautiful babies again! to see how much they are all growing!!

Ok, take care everyone

Love

Jo and Austin

Oh Jo,

If i wasnt so tired i would come help you myself.
Nearly everyone with kids i have spoken to has basically pretty much had the same problems with their other halves. You are doing a fab job with baby Aus, and he is an absolute cutie pie, so you should be so proud of yourself babe. Im having a nightmare of a time with scott as he has basically noticed that im alive again. Which isnt washing with me as he wasnt there when i really did need him, and to top it all off as far as i know he still has the girlfriend. Who is causing him severe agro at the moment i believe. But then again what 20 year old girl wants a boyfriend with a new baby that he goes to see everyday and weekend, hence the reason, i think she wants me and Jemma out the picture but thats his problem not mine!!! So as if I dont have enough to deal with i have all his problems as well.......[Frowner]

Im trying to eat sensibly at the moment but i just dont seem to have the time to eat with Jemma up and down constantly. I seem to be back to my normal size but my tummy could do with a bit of exercise.
Do we need to wait 6 weeks before we can start to exercise again as i didnt have any stitches and my bleeding has stopped as well!!!!
I really dont have a clue about the dieting and the breast feeding Jo, only what you said, but i would say that even although you are expressing it would still be classed as breast feeding. You could ask your Health Visitor but if she is anything like mine, she wont want you doing anything!!!!!

I have sent some more pics girls as Jemma has gone for a sleep, so i may as well go and finish doing the house work and maybe squeeze in a bath if i am lucky....[Smiler]

Take Care Girls

oooooooo i'm al confused posting on two threads, you know it doesn't take much!!!!! well jo, i feel exactly the same as you, me and ju bicker all the time about nothing really, but i haven't got the same energy any more for fighting back if you know what i mean, it just makes me cry coz i'm tired!!! i feel like he just thinks about himself, and i literally am holding the baby, and it frustrates me when i advise him (nicely) of something i have learned during the day, such as don't stop him mid feed to wind him as he's started to not take the rest of the bottle (lazy boy) and then he just does it!!! DO YOU NOT LISTEN!!!!! i say, coz its me that suffers in the long run when i have to make more bottles coz he feeding every 2 hours grrrrrrr, sorry for moan, they just numb aren't they. Have you tried any local mum and baby groups jo, i didn't tink it my thing but did quite enjoy comparing with other mummys and getting advice and seeing what ben be like in 2/3 weeks etc, and its nice having a time to get out of the house for i think. we go on fridays at 2pm, only been once, it a new group, hope all the mummys don't fizzle out. its good socially for ben to i think.

i'll post some more pics this weekend defo, love showing off baby benjamin, thats the best bit about it isn't it!!! i just can't stop taking pics of him...

lots more pics to from everyone, LOVE looking at baby pics.

oh, benjamin wants afternoon tea, best be off.

Baby Lucy Elizabeth Ann Pearson arrived into the world very quickly at 11.44pm on Thursday 9th Feb 2006. Weight 8lb 2oz, loads of dark hair!

I was induced with Prostin at 11.30am on 9th, by 10.30pm I was 2 cm dil, got another membrane sweep. Came off foetal monitor at 11.15pm and felt urge to go to toilet (not for peepee!) sat glued to toilet (tmi) pain so excruciating I thought I was going to die and felt the urge to push. Midwife phoned for DH at 11.30pm to arrive in 1 hour as I was to go to delivery suite for membrane rupture, but I never got there. Demanded painkiller, gas/air anything but was told it was too late for anything. Promptly had to go back to loo as I thought I needed to do big poo again. But I realised it was baby coming, all hell broke loose as I was poised to deposit baby into toilet, had to be support carried back to bed by 2 midwifes with midwife holding baby's head in with a pad, no sooner on bed than Lucy slid out. Traumatic and scared, no-one to hold my hand and no painkilling drugs and no hubby to share it with, he was so shocked when he arrived to find he'd missed it, really wanted him there too, but I'd told him to go home at 9pm as nothing was happening then. Must have fully dilated in 14 mins. No stitches or tears, so different from first time around.
We're home now and its not sunk in yet. Have started to breastfeed, boobs like melons already.
So thats the last of the January births, can't wait to chat on the parenting thread.

I'm gonna read through all the posts to see what I've missed.
Speak later

Aly
