just a quickie.... its a bit gross but I have a question, after birth, bleeding, perfectly normal. My bleeding stopped about 2 weeks ago.... but over the last 2 days I have had bright red bleeding, its not a massive amount, and its not period. Just reading info on it and it has worried me more than settled my curiousity, as the internet normally does! Can anyone offer any advice???? If it persists i will get to dr, just wondering what was normal though Love to all Jox

Hi Girls, Borrowed a Laptop at last! Sorry I don't have time to read all your posts over the last 3 weeks, you know how it is! I've had my baby, a beautiful baby girl, born at home last Sunday at 12.05 pm weighing 6lbs 14oz, named Fredericka Bo Robins. How hard was that! blimey, I have so much respect for every women who has ever given birth! Waters broke a week before the birth, trickled all week, stayed strong and waited for it all to happen naturally, had a birth pool and gas and air only, could not manage the pain without a little help! Can't beleive how powerful the contraqctions were, established labour started at 1am Sunday morning, pushed for 2 hours from 10am onwards, was threatened with a transfer so somehow managed to find energy from somewhere to push her out just in the nick of time! cord was wraped around her neck twice! so cord was cut and the world stopped for what seemed like eternity while they rubbed her and gave her oxygen! I will never forget hearing the first murmers from her and the relief that she was alive! Had to have an episiotimy - stitches very sore and annoying but have all fallen out now and wound is open - don't know why they bothered with stitches! all is healing well, Freddie is fine and so so perfect. Breast feeding is coming together slowly, my flat nipples are not helping but a nipple sheild is helping to draw them out and hopefully I can get rid of it eventually! Copeing with lack of Sleep as Freddie sleeps very well and is very chilled out. Must dash, will post again soon. If anyone has time can they give me a run down of who's given birth etc etc as I haven't time to read all the post's I've missed!!! Love to all and well done everyone......it seems to get better and a little easier everyday, I must say I LOVE being a mum! Bonio x x

Hello lovely mummies Sorry I have neglected the site for a while, I have had visitor after visitor and it has been hectic. But its calming down a bit now so I thought i would post while I had 5 mins. Evan is doing really well and I couldnt ask for a better baby really, he is gorgeous and i just cant stop staring at him. We are enjoying breastfeeding and apart from the odd projectile vomiting and a bit of trapped wind he is feeding really well. DF gone back to work now so its just me and bambino at home which im finding ok, We getting into a little routine now but is anyone finding that the babies sleep a lot? Evan sleeps most of the time and only has maybe an hour or two of awake time in the day. Jo I cant believe you are having nookie already, I am feeling more womanly now the bump has gone but im still far to sore for anything naughty.. mind you its only been 11 days. Bonio congratulations on the birth of your little baby [ ] Right im going to have myself some tea now, i'll send some more pics when i get a min, So are we graduating to the parenting board then? Maria i am with you on the puking thing, i have never done as much washing in my life!! One day he went through7 sleep suits coz he kept weeing up his back, its my fault i didnt put the nappy on tight enough. Love Nic & Evan xxxxxxxxxxx

Congratulations Bonio on the birth of Frederika, can't wait to see some pictures. Well everyone, thats me now 10 days overdue and I'm really feeling unhappy. I was told on 30th Jan that I'd be induced today (8th Feb) but I was to phone at 8.30am. So I phoned and was told there was no room/bed for me that they were busy and they had no record of booking. Seriously p***** off. I don't want to be induced but accepted it was going to happen and was prepared for it being today. The woman on phone didn't even say sorry she was a complete cow. She said to come in Thursday, but I'm thinking stuff it, baby will have to come out so I'd rather it happen as nature intended and not with a load of synthetic hormones. DH is on my case saying he wants me to go in tommorrow - he's worried about me and the baby. Baby is still moving about, I feel fine, infact this is the best I've felt all pregnancy. But I've not had any more regular contractions, they come and go so still must be pratice one's. Anyway thats all my news. oh except that I got Alex's birthday present organised, my sister is making cake, got paper plates/cups/invites/loot bags. Just need to get food and juice, so I'll send DH for that. Hopefully I'll have some baby news soon. Aly x

Hi Girls Bonio congratulations, hope we can see some pics soon, I bet she is a wee cutie pie............[ ] Sorry I have posted in a bit but things have just been hectic here with Jemma. Im loving every minute of being a mum but it sure is hard work. Jemma is brill during the day but seems to be still suffering with colic at nights. I have changed her milk which has helped with the constipation but i stopped giving her the infacol for the last 2 days and she has been a nightmare so i have started using it again and what a difference. I have been trying to get a routine going but with her upset tummy it has been a bit difficult but she went down at 11pm last night and slept til 4.30am and the back up at 8.30am so that was quite good and I feel brill for getting a sleep......[ ] Well girls i had my first night out on Friday night with the girls, and how bad did i feel, i felt really guilty about leaving her but i still had a good night and to be honest i didnt drink alot as i dont think i could have coped with a hangover the next day. Scott seems to be making more of an effort these days (must be something wrong) he has now decided that he would love nothing more than me and Jemma to move back with him. But to be honest after everything he has put me through recently I think i would be off my head to go back, im feeling quite happy and settled now and i am moving on with my life, but why do i feel so bad for him after everything he has done......[ ] Has anyone heard or used the Dr Browns bottles, I bought some yesterday as they are meant to be good for colicky babies but i wasnt sure if there was maybe better ones. Oh Aly, I hope everything goes well for you today if you have decided to go ahead with the induction. Fingers crossed baby Bobby arrives soon. Well Im coming over to post on the parenting thread now. Take Care Lisa & Jemma xxx
