Hows he sleeping at night for you? Benjamin having a feed 11.00pm if i can steer him that way, then he fidgets and goes down about 11.30/45pm then he wakes about 3.30am ish, goes straight back down and then wakes again about 6.30/7am, so he doing ok really, he asleep now, yyyyyyaaaaaayyyyyyy. i am absolutely knackered coz his biggest sleep is in the morning and then he awake all afternoon and evening so i'm not ready for a nap at 9am, i've only just woke up!!! so about 4pm i go half dead, and then get my second wind about 6pm and go hyper!!!!!

Thanks Lorraine for posting that about Snowrose. And congratulations to Snowrose and family on the birth of baby Freddie, i love that name, so cute.[Smiler]

I started having contractions 8 mins apart from 11pm last night, still about the same today but getting more intense. Don't feel the need to go to hospital just yet. Sent husband off to work, didn't want him wasting any paternity leave if not needed, He's in Edinburgh so will take about 1 and half hours to get home to me, Aaaarrggg!!! Just hope I can time this right if I need him.

Party plans on a back burner just now, I'll probably just get DH to get cake and food etc and do invites on computer.

I'm away to check e-mail to see these pictures you're talking about Maria.

Did anymore see The wright stuff this morning they were discussing the Breastfeeding programme that was on last night.

Hiya girls,

Congrats Snowrose Smiler Thanks Lorraine, hope you are feeling ok, I know you have been having a rough rough time of it recently.

Thanks for your Awww Maria Smiler Austin is an absolute cutie pie Smiler His cold finally seems to be going, he is still a bit snuffly but should be fine in a day or so. I got that top from Debenhams, it is sooo cool. Its funny I love dressing him, in little man clothes. Austin enjoys it too, he finds it funny when mum gets his tops stuck on his head SmilerSmiler He also loves his baths.... I think I have a real water baby on my hands.... cant wait to take him swimming. As for his sleep patterns... he still doesnt really have any pattern at all !! I try and get him to feed at 8, then in his moses basket, then have another feed at 11 ish and then moses basket again.... but he normally wont sleep then until he has another feed at 2/3am he just wriggles and wants fussing between 11 and 3am... but then i can normally get him to sleep until 6/7 when he has another feed, and then peace until 10/11 which is joy! He still seems to have a much more relaxing sleep during the day, whereas at night its all grumbles and wriggles. But he is so cute he can get away with it. He has his mum wrapped around his little finger SmilerSmiler He has his hearing test tomorrow, bit nervous for him.
Glad to hear ben is doing ok, I have been infacoling Austin too, he just seems so stressed when having a poo, but the infacol has worked a treat Smiler
I cant believe we have month old babies!! I will start up a thread on the parenting board... so I hope that all you yummy mummies will come and post on there, so we can keep on being as lovely and supportive as we all have been over the last 10 ish months. Would love to keep in touch with everyone.

How is the beautiful Jemma doing? and her gorgeous mum? Hope you are ok Lisa.
And the gorgeous Evan? still in love Nic.....? Its amazing isnt how much you can love them. I didnt think it possible to adore someone so much. The only way I can describe it to people is by saying its like having your heart in front of you. you have to protect it with every breath in your body. We are soo lucky Smiler

Hows it going Aly?? Hope you are ok, cant wait to hear about your imminent arrival. Wishing you a good labour. Ohhhhh I am so excited for you !! Hugs for Aly!!!

Hope we hear from Bonio... I think its her due date today.

How yuo doing Eb, with lovely Oliver? Hope you are good.

Looking forward to hearing from Snowrose, and Tigga, about there lovely babies.

OK, I will pop off to the parenting board and start a new topic for us.

Love to all

Jo and Aus

Hi Girls

Big congratulations to Tigga and Snowrose, well done to you two, hopefully we will hear all about it soon. Take care girls xx

Oh Aly, Im so excited for you, fingers crossed everything goes well, look forward to hearing your news.

So are we just waiting on news from Bonio now?????

Well Jo, Jemma's sleeping pattern sounds exactly like Aus. She just doesnt seem to really settle fully until after her 3am feed but she is so good during the day. Im still using infacol too as it does seem to help her, i changed her milk yesterday as she seems to be struggling doing a poo too, so fingers crossed this new milk will help her. Its tiring but i think you just get used to being tired. The pics of Aus were so cute, i must try and send some more tonite.

Hows Maria? I am going to start looking into a christening for Jemma too, but with me being a single parent and not married etc, i dont know if our priest will agree to do it or not. Well i can only ask! So hows Ben, he sounds as if he seems to be settling a bit more now.

Well best go as thats Jemma wakened now!!!

Take Care

Lisa & Jemma xxx

Thats fab news about Jen, and little AJ Smiler

Maria, my HV said the same about Austins struggle when having a poo, she said to ignore it, and babies make the strangest facial expressions at the best of times. The only advice was to make sure the poo stays the same and doesnt go hard, or change colour Smiler nice Smiler
and also just to keep an eye on how regular he is, and if that changes too. But dont worry Smiler

I hope the weigh in goes well Smiler

Well i had another horrendous night of small to no sleep, Ant was a sh*t head last night too. had a few beers and just was less than no help. I could have killed him. I think I am getting tonsilitus again which isnt helping me feel any good. But no maoning form me. Austin had his hearing test and it was all clear and good hooray!!!!!!!
And I managed to get me him and ant out of the door before 9 am, which I thought would be impossible. Made me feel good about myself. Got everything prepared and ready, I am knackered now!!!!

Hope you other new mummies are able to get some sleep.

Hope all the babies are doing well and all you lovely mums too.

I wonder if Aly has had baby Bobby yet Smiler??

Love to all

Jo and Austin

Hello, don't get too excited, still no baby, getting a bit stressed and worried. Contractions come and go and my abdomen is really sore, but at this rate looks like Bobby bump will have to be induced on 8th Feb after all, I just don't understand why this is happening, everything was plain sailing and so natural with Alex. I'm now 5 days over.

I can't believe thats Austin a month old now, I loved the pictures Jo. [Smiler]

Maria, I'm thinking about a May time christening for this baby too (when it comes). Alex was christened in May and weather had just started to get nice.

awwwwwww fingers crossed aly, can't wait to hear!!!!!!!!

grrrrrrrrrrrr men, julian has been nice today, and then we decided we were only having a ping tea, you know curry and rice so i would have mine first then he could hold a colicy benjamin then he would have his and i would hold him, so we both got tea in peace. so ju decided that he would just have his tea anyway after cooking mine, so i had to listen to benjamin getting progressively more annoyed in his cot coz not being picked up, and then when i called him from the kitchen he had the cheek to have a go at me and say i wasn't eating fast enough!!!!!!! cheeky b*****d, and then he changed his bum voluntarily, and didn't put nappy on tight enough, and so he weed up his back, so he changed him but left him in basket downstairs with just a vest on so he could finish his tea!!! poor little mite was freezing till mummy dressed him properly!!!!i would love to slow down to eat but my baby prevents it!!! oh, i just can't seem to be able to stand his selfish, arrogant little person at the moment. i'm sorry for ranting, but if he'd just followed the plan we would now be talking now, instead he's pretending like nothing happened!!! and i'm ashamed to say i swore in front of benjamin, and now i feel sooo guilty, it was a really bad word to... ending in "off"

sorry for going on.....[:I]

hows you and ant jo now? better than me and ju i hope!!!!

hows all the other mummys and babys doing, kisses to all babies from me and benjamin.

went to mother and baby group today, was really good, really enjoyed it, didn't think it was my thing, but the midwife i made friends with set it up, and i didn't want to let her down, but got there and was good.

good news about hearing test jo, benjamin had his last friday and was good, he wasn't asleep though but it was so funny, he could sense that we didn't want him to move i think, and he went saucer eyed staring at me stiff as a board in my arms, bless.

well best be off to try and calm down........oh and he's now asleep, grrrrrrr he doesn't even do night feeds!!!!

hiya

can only be quick, just wanted to send hugs to you Maria (((((()))))

Bloomin men is all I can say. and dont you worry about the "off" word, if I felt guilty about every explitive I have used in front of baby Aus, I would be in a permanent state of guilt...... oh hang on i am anyway!!!

Keep your chin up hon, I know exactly what you are talking about, you are not alone!! Will swap cra**y partner stories when baby Aus isnt wailing at me!!

Hope you are ok Aly, I hope things get themselves going again, and baby Bobby makes his/her appearance before you need to be induced.

Big hugs to you too Smiler

Hope everyone else is ok

Love

Joxxx

Hi Maz

Awwww I feel for you. My DH doesnt do night feeds either and only looks after her when it suits him. I think he has fed her 2 x in the night since we had her and she is now 5 months old. Once was last night! She did sleep though until we put her in her cot and now she wakes 3.00-3.30am every night. Doesnt seem to matter how much he annoys me, I just get so upset and can not become immune to it. Like for example he has the hump cos I want Lauren to stay overnight at my mum and dads the night/s I am in hosp. This is because I havent been separated from her before and thats bad enough but I want to know she is safe and being checked on. Even with her screaming through the baby monitor he used to sleep thru and not get up to her, and he expects me to leave her with him overnight! I know he is her dad but I am the cautious one with her. I would rather not worry cos I am in hosp and also worry about her being ok and checked. What do you all think?

Anyhow, he also doesnt let me get any work done. I start from zero up each month and have to earn my bills/car/mortgage etc. He has a job yet he does everything to disrupt me when he is about, ie. leave her with me screaming etc etc.

Sorry to have a rant, but Maz you are not alone in this, I have felt invisible to him since she was born ie. he didnt take care of me when I was in all that pain etc. Jo/Aly etc - Any advise on this?

Debs

flipping heck debs, ju's not that bad i have to be hoest, i feel so sorry for you. big hugs.

ju does do at least 1 feed a night normally, its just he "wetting babies head" tonight so its just me, and he did look after me after birth n stuff. awwwwwwwww you must feel so sad, i do agree about your mum and dad, ju used to sllep through crying at first and it was soooo annoying, he got better now though!

hows jo, thAnks for your hugs hun, they so insensitive arent they, i like u jo, feel guilty for even one drink, and they just go and get p***** whenever they want. i so feel the need for a normal night out, like before i was pregnant, i only ever drunk about 2/3 then, but just want to go out and have fun with him for one night, is that bad? does anyone else feel like that.......

Nope still no baby, so don't even ask[Frowner][Frowner][Frowner]

Hi Debs, I'm sorry about your predicament. I have similar problems with my DH and if I knew the answer I'd help you and myself. I have felt invisible to my DH for months, makes me wonder how I got pregnant in the first place LOL.
About your hospital stay, I honestly think that maybe you should leave Lauren with DH when you go to hospital, I say this, not to make you worry, but to make him realise just how much you do and don't get help or assistance with. Its a trust thing, and if you let your parents look after her, yes she will be checked on but its letting DH off the hook. He has to take some responsibility. Does he think that he does more than you because he has a job, it seems that you have several jobs, you earn income and you are a mother. I hope you figure out what is best for you and your family and I really hope that all gets sorted in hospital, Fingers crossed for you XXXXXXX.
