Hi Nichola Congrats on the safe arrival of baby Evan. That sounds like the last part of my delivery actually. Do keep your wound clean if you can as I wouldnt like you to get an infection. I can totally relate to the being uncomfortable thing as well. Bless you. Hi Ellie Fingers crossed that you get the BFP you long for. Take care Girls Deb & Snuffly Lauren xxx

Nic - well done, you had a VERY similar labour to me so I can really empathise!! I lost a lot of blood too but didn't end up needing any treatment for it. You will feel better soon, I felt right as rain after about 10 days. It's the end of January and there are still some babies to be born - I know you are uncomfortable but make sure you take this time to get some sleep, however and whenever you can - it;s the sleep deprivation that is the worst thing about this!! Are we going to continue on the Parenting board or stick around here? Oliver is 1 month old already today - yes we survived the first month. He's sleeping in his sling on my lap right now - still prefers to be held to sleep, still difficult to settle him in his basket except when he's REALLY tired. We switched to combination feeding, topping up with formula especially at night, about a week and a half ago and it's meant I am getting a bit more rest. There were some times where he was just constantly feeding for hours at night so the formula has probably saved both our lives...

Thanks for your info on the milk, the health visitor is coming back on friday to see Jemma, so im def going to mention to her again, she has really only had 1 bad night out of 15 days so I will see what she says. Well, i have been told to post on behalf of jennie, she had the baby tonight (31/1/06), it was a very healthy baby boy, mother and baby are doing fine, but she did have a rather large tear and was down theater for a couple of hours, she lost about a pint of blood, but shes back on the mend now haven't got a name for him yet but he weighed 8 pound and half an ounce. Well done Jennie, hope you are on the mend now and able to enjoy baby Flumpy. You're right Jo, we do need a baby girl or two around here, I must admit i'd quite like to have a girl this time but its 50/50 isn't it. Baby Jemma might be the only girl out of 7/8 births. Still no sign of regular contractions, but have had a "show" (TMI - there was quite a lot of it) so hopefully things will start now maybe in the next day or 2 I'll have my baby too. Baby moving around lots, groin pain and chronic heartburn. It Alex birthday on 13th Feb, so need to start organising his party, just family and a couple of his friends at the house is about all I can manage. He wants a Thomas the tank engine Birthday cake again!!!! Will keep you posted Aly x
