Have you told anyone yet munchkin?

I have got a really bloated stomach today and am constantly needing to go to the toilet. Surely the symptoms can't have kicked in yet! They didn't till 6 weeks with my first child. What hope is there for me near the end. Roll Eyes Oh well. the joys of being pregnant. I wouldn't swap it though.

Hi all Big Grin

Well after feeling quite good today and even having the energy to cook dinner for the first time in about a month I just ruined it by being violently sick afterwards!!! Oh well at least I feel okay. My boobs are so sore though. As I was walking down the corridors at school today (I'm a teacher) I felt like someone was battering them with a rounders bat!

Anyway enough about me.

Cara - welcome to the thread if you let me have all the details that are on the chart I will add you tomorrow Smiler Congratulations and I really hope all goes well for you this time.

Rach - fab news on the scan. Nearly 12 weeks I can't wait to hit that mile stone. Hope you are well.

Lucy - hope you are feeling a bit better now? Did you cancel your holiday?

Munchy - glad you Mum took the news so well. When does DH go away next? What happens when the baby arrives can he have paternity leave?

Cookiemonster - how did your boss take the news? Hope it went down well.

Simone - how are you? Hope your restless legs are a little better now. I have had this once or twice it drove me crazy!

Wow that took longer than it used to! Good to see the thread so busy

Hi Dats and Emily Big Grin

It is good to see you on here!

Dats - I miss all you lovely ladies on 2ww too. I can't believe I am 10 weeks either. It seemed to go slow but now when I look back it has gone fast really if that makes any sense!?!? I see you are in dpo land. Any symptoms? I am so hoping and praying that your BFP is just around the corner - it was good to see all was well with your blood tests. xxxxx

Emily - hope all is well with your pregnancy. Has your sickness eased yet? Whilst I am being sick quite a lot in between times I don't feel too bad so I have probably got away with it quite lightly. No still no 12 week scan date. I am seeing the midwife today so hopefully she will sort that out. I am starting to really worry that the babies heart will have stopped or something. I keep reading all these stories! Oh well must keep my PMA! xxxxx

Hello all, hope your all okay?

Mandy, yeh i cancelled my holiday, i diden't want to risk it, i got all my money back, from the insurance, so thats great, and i should be moving house in the next few weeks, so i can use my money to make my house look fab!!!!!

I am still suffering with morning sickness (all day sickness) but it has eased, and im coping better, im still doing shorter hours at work, but after my 12 week scan, which is 3 weeks on Friday, if my fibroids are okay, i will resume back to my normal hours.

Welcome to the new ladies, and congratulations on your BFP.

My laptop at home is not working at the min, which is why i haven't posted so often, as i have to us the internet at work, when i can.

Hiya everyone,

I hope you are all well today or at least as well as can be expected in between the morning sickness Wink

Mandy - my boss took the news really well. She has promised not to say anything as it is still very early days. I am extra happy coz i thought i would have to give up working during the day when i finished my maternity leave due to not being able to afford the childcare costs for 2 kids. I would have had to get another job working in the evening which would have meant my career would have to be abandoned as i am in IT. My DH thinks he might have come up with a way that i can come back fulltime though and also take 9 months off maternity leave which will be fab. I only got to take 3 1/2 months off with my first child. I hope we can manage it! Guess we will have to wait and see.

Is it too early to start getting symptoms? I am def feeling ever so slightly queasy, tired and my chest kills! I don't remember feeling it this early with my first child. When did other people start getting the pregnancy symptoms?

Hi ladies

Well i made it to the new board at last! Smiler

I havent been too bad! The tiredness is easing at last - i find i still need a little nap some afternoons but not as much as before. The weird thing is i find i cant sleep for more than 3 hours some nights and then have to get up for a couple of hours before i can sleep again.

The sickness is easing a lot too - still having the odd 'moment' but its so much easier to deal with.

The Restless legs are a bit hit and miss too - some days i am fine others am suffering.

I have started expanding for real now. I have had a belly for a few weeks but it has been because of the constipation. Am still constipated but my tummy has taken on the pregnant shape now. Yay.

This leads me to beleive that i am actually 14 weeks. I have my 4th scan tomorrow and will hopefully finally find out exactly when i am due.

For those who dont know i had two early scans as i was getting lots of pain and when i had my 12 week scan (which by my dates would have actually been 11 weeks 3 days) the hospital thought i should have been 10+3. Flump measured 12+2 though so there was lots of hoo haa-ing about when i am actually due by the MW and consultant! Hence tommorrows scan.

Welcome to all the new mummies to be and im sure ill speak to you all lots over the coming months.

Simone

Organised Dats? Me?! LOL! Just that this geezer gets booked up so quickly! Part of me thinks its tempting fate booking so far ahead but my sensible head knows that what will be will be anyway...
Glad your sickness is improving Simone
Glad your boss took the news well Cookie. My boss is a horror so it'll be a long time before I spill these beans!
Glad you got the money back lucy - enjoy spending it!
Welcome Cara
Mandy happy 10 weeks - and sorry about the cooking induced vom - all the more reason to leave it to DH eh! DH is due off at the end of Feb but he's applying for a few other jobs with better shift patterns so we'll see!
I was shattered last night as I'd had a late night the night before. Slept right through from 9pm apart from half an hour at 3.30am. Felt a bit sick then so worried that it was the start of the dreaded morning sickness but all good today.
Where's my snow I want to know!

Hiya Much,

I am very lucky that i have a female boss who i get on well with. She sort of knew that we were trying i think anyway so it wasn't a complete surprise to her. Glad your feeling better today. I keep wondering if the pregnancy symptoms are starting but then i think it's too early and it must all be in my head because i am looking out for them more.

I hope everyone is having a fab day!
