Thanks faiza, thats really lovely. It looks like I'm on my own though and everyones popped. Thought it was going to be last night. I started having regular (every 10 mins)but not very long (30-35 seconds)contractions at about 3 ish this morning and after a couple of hours they stopped!! Gutted!! Hubby stayed off today just in case, but feel like a fraud now. Told him not to bother but I think he's enjoying the time with my other one. Perhaps it is imminent, don't think I'll go overdue, feel too ready. Fingers crossed eh? Merry Christmas to everyone. Julielou

I had a mother who was having her third child. Due Dec 25th. The second pregnancy ended with a c/section, and she so much wanted to have a vaginal birth. This pregnancy, she went to all the classes, yoga, swimming etc and would you believe she ended up with a c/section on Tuesday 20th Dec due to the baby being breech!! Her husband was so very much looking for a normal birth by the due date. But ironically, he said he wanted her to have the baby on the 20th so she could be home for Xmas, and it happened. But not the way he thought. (Weird). They have a beautiful baby girl weighing 8lbs!! No name yet.
