Hi ladies,
Any advice would be greatly recieved. I got my BFP today making me 4weeks + 1. This evening when going to the loo (tmi coming up) I have a pinky streaked discharge, none on underwear just when I wipe, could this be implantation? I thought this would of happened before now! Not in any pain just have lots of pulls, twinges in pelvic area. Any advice. I read somewhere pinky discharge isn't good is that right?
Appreciate any words of wisdom.

Pobs i read pinky discharge is usually fine, it's if you actually get dark blood that could be a worry. xx

Ive had some spotting on and off for the last week now and my GP has said that somethimes it can be a hormonal bleed. Your body gets used to having a period every 4 weeks or so and until it gets used to the fact that you are pregnant you might get some spotting around weeks 4 and 8.

He also told me that its nothing to worry about unless its coupled with abdominal pain. When I found out I was pregnant it was the day AF was due and I still kept getting the mild cramps you would normally link with having one. Bleeding in my family is quite common though, my sister had AF for the first 4 months with one of my nephews. She only did a test when I said told her she was putting on weight. She had some bleeding with the 2 after that aswell.

I know its easier said than done, but try not to worry too much. It doesnt help any by getting stressed out. Take things easy for a few days until i t stops. Thats what my GP told me.

Good luck.

Hey Pobbins,

I'm possibly going to make myself very unpopular now, but I ***uld say if you are concerned then please do get checked out.

I had a miscarriage in January following a car crash, and with me I had soreness from the crash for about 10 days which I'd deperately ignored willing everything to be ok.

I suddenly started with a pinkish discharge, and went staright to the hospital to get it checked where they told me i was no longer pregnant (pregnancy had ended around the time of the crash but it took 10 days for my body to work that out!).

Although the discharge started as pinkish within an hour or so I was passing blood, which just got heavier and heavier.

I really hope that all is well for you, but I have a lot of regrets for not checking out my own concerns sooner, and I would personally advise you to go and see someone even if its just for a bit of peace of mind, and to confirm what you've found on the internet.

Sorry if this is a bit of an uncomfortable post - don't want to upset anyone, and from the sounds of your post your cir****tances are very different from my own so hopefully things will settle down and everything will be fine.

Take care

Cx
