hi, im new to this site so i didn't know which thread to visit to ask for advice so im hoping someone will be able to help me here.

i came off the pill 3 years ago and since then i still have not been able to conceive. i have been to the gyneo department at my local hiospital and had the blood test done which have to be done on certain days of your cycle. they came back clear so no porblems there and im ovulating properly. i have also had a hycosy examination thats where they insert a catheter tube inside you theough your cervix and then inflate a balloon to relase some fye into the tubes to see wether or not they are blocked. and again these came back clear so no problems there.

does anyone have any suggestions as to why it is taking me so long???? i now have to have the blood test done again and my partner has to provide a sperm sample. if all these come back clear then they said they would provide me with some tablets that basically give you an extra push when it xomes to ovualating

Hi Leanne, nice to meet you and welcome to the boards.. There are some great girls on here who can help with any issues.

As you see there are quite a few different threads and you can post wherever you want. There is the ordinary TTC thread, the TTC for 6 months or more and the TTC for 12 months plus. The latter two are for those of us who have been trying for a bit longer. We tend to just flit between all of them. Just post wherever you want to honey.

As for reasons for delay in getting pregnant, who knows, there are some really great girls on the TTC for 12 months plus thread who have been trying for the same length of time with no obvious reasons for the infertilty, I think they call it unexplained infertility. The next step I would have thought would have been to get DH's SA done to rule out male factor infertility.

hi thanks for getting back to me.

my partner will be doing his test next week then i have to wait 6 weeks for them results to come back so they should be here in time for my next follow up at gyno.

its been 3 years and they only thing they have said was about my uterus being sipped back. which apparently is quite common in women. but all the test have all come back clear.

just cant wait till it does finally happen!!!!!

Hi again, leanne, I take you mean tipped cervix? In that it is tilted back? If so the I just googled this under its other name, retrovated cervix, and it seems this shouldn't cause a problem in conceiving apart from the fact you may have to change position!! Apparently the best way is with the women on her knees and the man entering from behind... Sorry if that made anyone blush! Maybe you could give this a try and see how things go?

that would probably explain when i had the hycosy ultrasound examination they had trouble with the catheter trying to get it in my cervix.

i will take your advice and try what you said.

oh yeah how do people get little pictures under their names??

and in the profile section what is the karma bit all about ?? lol

The little pictures are avatars which you can choose under your profile. Go to complete/edit profile and choose one. I think you can also go choose them from avatar websites. Just stick Avatars into google and you should be right.

As for karma, i'm not sure, have never really used that button. As for the tickers which appear under posts you can type Tickers into google and it will bring up websites. You choose the one you like and they will give you a code which you copy and paste into the signature section of your profile.
