omg omg omg thekatswhiskers well done hun i so hope i get my bfp soon
Just to let you know my first appointment dates to add to the chart...
Nuchal Scan - Fri 18th July followed by my booking in appointment with Midwife.
Not sure if everyone has one of these or if it's just that I'm an ancient old M2B I had a choice of 2 hospitals..one in Harlow called The Princess Alexandra or one in East London called Whipps Cross....so initially I've opted for Whipps Cross as they are a University Teaching Hospital (part of Barts I believe) and have a completely separate maternity building so I'm thinking they'll have all the up to date equipment and offer more tests etc on the NHS. Also the midwife I spoke to today was really lovely so that's helped alot too
Right, think it's bath and bed time for me in a bit, I'm exhausted....I didn't buy a thing when I went shopping today but we had a lovely lunch so that made up for it
Morning Silky, ive added your appts to the chart. Hope your ok this morning. Its good thats youve been able to opt for your choice of hospital. Im not going to my local as its disgusting! Had DD at the one where im going this time and had a fab experience, hence why im going back there. Only think is for me cos its a different nhs trust they are really slow in letting you know about appts etc. Glad you had a yummy lunch, what did you have?
Im ok a bit tired today and DH actually said he can tell im pregnant today. Really going to have to pluck up the courage to tell my boss today, feel sick about it already!! Im such a wimp!

Vicky - bless you for feeling all nervous about telling your boss Glad it all went ok though....I still haven't told mine Have you heard from the midwife yet? We went to Wagamamas yesterday and had Duck Gyoza (which are little parcels of duck and veg) with a cherry hoi sin dipping sauce to start...then I had a big bowl of Chilli Chicken Ramen (which to be honest is nearly as good as BDing ) and then had a slab of chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream for pud......Mmmm I could eat it all over again but at this rate am going to look like the back side of a house before long....although the Chilli Chicken Ramen is really healthy it's just all the added extras I had! My only excuse is that eating is the ONLY thing that stops me feeling sick though Thanks for putting my scan and midwife appointment on the chart too.#
How's everyone else feeling today? I'm feeling all sicky again which isn't much fun....the only way I could explain it to DP today was by saying that I feel like had a constant hangover for 3 weeks.....that seemed to hit home and he said "Oh Babe, you go straight home and rest after work"....funny how we have to put things into Manly Simple Terms isn't it??!!
Oh Laura hun, I'm so sorry I know how you're feeling as that's exactly what happened to me. Ours sadly stopped growing at approx 7/8 weeks but didn't find out til I started bleeding at 11 weeks
Take good care of yourself ok - you're in my thoughts Love of love & hugs Kat x

Hey guys Well, went back to work yesterday after 2 weeks off on hols (went to Dublin & had a fabulous time )& told everyone as I have to where I work (work at hospital in orthopaedic operating theatres - loads of very heavy lifting, transferring patients on & off the table, getting sets & equipment ready, etc) so basically I'm just doing paperwork which is fine by me. I just have to leave when they do x-rays & can't go into the anaesthetic room when anaesthetising a patient. Everyone was so pleased & happy & I got so many hugs I'm sure everyone else is so much more excited than me (I'm just so scared of being excited & it all going wrong - burst into tears at work this afternoon).
Well, my symptoms are very sore lower back pain, sore/achey breasts & sensitive nipples, so so so tired, a few little twinges in my tummy area (but I've been told that's normal- doesn't feel out of the ordinary - someone reassure me!)
The last few days I've been coming home from work & going to bed & having a little sleep for 30/40mins & it's doing wonders & I feel so much more refreshed afterwards.
I'm off for now. Hope you all ok & taking it easy
Love Kat x

TKW - My symptoms are very similar to yours with the lower back pain, sore boobs, exhaustion and also I've had the tummy twinges too. They are mainly in the evening and sometimes they feel a little like dull AF pains and sometimes they are sharp and diggy but they don't overly worry me as they aren't constant and don't seem to be in the same place ever. Guess it's just everything stretching and growing....it's hard not to worry though isn't it? These first 12 weeks are when you worry the most and they just sort of leave you to get on with. I've wondered if it's growing o, if it's in the right place and sometimes I find it hard to believe I'm pregnant at all but then I refer back to all my symptoms
I've been taking Pregnacare Vitamins with Omega 3 Oils but when I looked on the box I realised they don't actually contain any calcium which I found a bit odd. Does anyone know why? Also, I seem to get SO out of breath just walking up a flight of stairs....is this normal because I've never been like that before and I have a normal BMI etc so wondered why this could be happening so early on?
OOOH - Kat I haven't been on the past few days properly and - I have just seen your news!!! SO SO happy for you!!!!!!! I know it is hard to relax - I was the same - but just enjoy it - and I'm sure you'll be just fine! Thinking of you loads and sending sticky glue! Will be stalking you!! Congrats to the rest of you too! Love, Pxx (due in Sept!)

Hi guys, hope you don't mind me crashing in but I just wanted to ask Vicky how her hayfever was. did you go to the GP in the end? The sodium cromoglicate spray and drops I got, along with vaseline around the nose and religiously wearing sunnies, seems to have done the trick for me and I haven't really suffered since that awful weekend when we were all so bad. Mind you, I've been scuttling from my air conditioned office to a home with all the doors and windows closed LOL!
Hope you've got yours under control hun.
Good luck to you all
xx
