Morning ladies hope you are all well. Im am absolutely shattered this morning the extreme tiredness is kicking in which I thought id missed obviously not! Couldn’t open my eyes this morning it was horrible, still think I could climb back into bed now! Plus my hayfever is playing up so look quite rough today haha!!!
Silky, im glad you’ve been eating earlier that 7.30! Was thinking god im surprised she hasn’t passed out! I had sickness at about 6 weeks lasted about 1 ½ weeks but seems to have gone now thank god! I read in my book though it can return at 9 weeks but fingers crossed it doesn’t. Poor you feeling sick on the tube, glad the polos did the trick, think its best you keep them handy or maybe keep some snacks in your bag for when you get hungry.
Samanslow, glad all was well at the epu. It must have been a worrying time for you.
Kelly, has Kades nappies stopped now or are you off to the docs? Ellies been ok now actually but its still there under the gum.
Hi Kat, Karen, Laura & Princess hope you are all ok this morning x

Oooh look, my ticker has finally started to move!!....Thought it'd got stuck!!!
Hello to Princess, Laura, Sam and Karen, how you all feeling today ladies?
Kat - Thanks for all the answers. I registered with Bumples too last night, I love the way it's set out over there and love the smilies etc. How are you feeling?
Vicky - I've been eating LOTS lol. My worst day was most definately Friday! I really hope your sickness has disappeared altogether and won't show her ugly face again My bag is stuffed with crackers, polo's and I even carry a bottle of Lucozade around with me at all times as that helps the dizzyness....must be all tht sugar I won't carry on eating and drinking like it for long but anything that stops the ill feeling at the moment is ok in my book How you feeling today?
Well, as for me, I'm feeling SO much better. Haven't really felt sick at all the last two days....not sure if that's a good sign or not though. Went to B&Q and Sainsburys yesterday full of the joys of spring.....bought a hedge trimmer (because I keep losing the dog in the garden and he's a whippet so not little ) but I'm just looking at the unopened box at the moment...small steps at a time I say! Boobs are getting bigger and bigger and I've got the odd very mild AF type cramp but otherwise I feel very good today. Am off to register with the doctor down the road from me, only lived here 5yrs and haven't bothered moving doctors but I guess the time has come. The receptionist said I could register today and then they'd make me an appointment with doctor tomorrow but I'm not sure what he'll do at this early stage. My friend keeps asking if I've done another test to make sure as I only did the one last Tuesday but I don't see the point as I've been having symptoms and AF has stayed away, have you all done more than one?
Wow...sorry for the LONG post I sort of got a bit carried away...bet you've all gone cross eyed now
My sickness has gone too so hopefully it's just that our bodies weren't used to the surges of different hormones whizzing around and now they've settled down a little as beanie makes itself at home for the next 8 months....it'll probably come back with a vengeance in a week or so no doubt
I'll ask the doctor about it when I go tomorrow though just in case. Try not to worry hon (easier said than done I know).
Morning ladies hope you are all well. Im ok this morning not as tired as yesterday thank god!!
Kat, im glad your ms has subsided a bit, hope it stays away.
Silky, your ticker will move so fast before you know it 12 weeks will be here! Can’t believe im nearly 9 already!! Glad you are carrying loads of snacks to keep sickness at bay, I felt a bit sicky last night about 8.30pm but had some ginger biscuits and a glass of water and it seemed to sort me out! Was prob a bit tired too which sometimes makes me feel sick! Can’t believe your only just registering with the local docs!! Have you got an appt for today? My docs just asked if I was ok etc etc and took a urine sample to confirm, still waiting to hear from mw though!
Kelly, so glad Kades better.
Right best get on, Happy Tuesday!!! x x

This is the thing you spend your time wishing the sickness would go cos you fell horrendous, then when it disappears you think the worst! Im sure everythings just fine, my sickness has gone now. Infact all my symptoms have gone except for not fitting into my trousers!!!

Vicky - I've got some ginger biccies (amongst others ) and have to say they do seem to help. I went to the doctors to register yesterday and she booked me in to see the nurse next Tuesday for a general health check and for all my 'maternity bits and pieces' as she put it She didn't even ask me to take a urine sample with me or anything. I explained that I'm 39 and it's my first but she didn't seem concerned at all but said of course if I had any concerns that I could come and see a doctor at any time before then otherwise next Tuesday will be fine. Guess she knows what she's doing and after all I am only 5wks.
I feel so much better than I did this time last week, the sicky feeling really has died down alot now. On the other hand my boobs are MAHOOSIVE and really quite painful...woke myself up twice in the night just turning over!! I had a few twinges in the pelvic area last night along with more light AF type pains but I guess that's everything stretching about and seeing as I've had no spotting or bleeding at all I'm not worried about it
Hi Silky, at my last docs when I had DD they never asked for a sample either, so must vary from place to place. Im very impressed with how ginger biscuits work, but they actually do!! Must stock up as im running low. Oh my god the boob pain is awful isn’t it! Hasn’t been too bad for me this time round but with DD it was by far the worst side effect by far! Im still getting the stretching pains now, and has anybody sneezed and bent funny, cos that bloody kills aswell. I remember in my last pregnancy I was so worried that by sneezing something would go wrong cos of the pain!
Right best get on x

Just had to reply about the sneezing thing....made me laugh my head off. I sneezed the other day and got a sharp stabbing pain sort of where you appendix would be and I thought...'OOoh that's not right!' so when I felt a sneeze coming on last night I was sitting on the sofa and tucked my knees up so they were almost under my chin and I didn't get the muscle spasm or the pain Also if you're standing up don't try to hold the sneeze in so that you sound like a chipmunk sneezing as that causes the spasm too (as I found out in the Supermarket) just make the loudest noise you can and that helps as well.....even if everyone in a mile radius jumps out of their skin with the shock of it....who cares let it out!!
hi guys. hope your all well. im not happy. im almost 8 weeks now and my midwife still wont book me in as shes fully booked. getting really fed up with it now :-( xx
