I was thinking about calling next week just to see what procedures were. ie. did they want to double check my tests or whether they will just send me to local midwifes for check etc.

I went to see dr on Fri and they told me that there was no need to do another test as long as I was happy I read the tests correctly. They then told me to make a booking app with the midwife. I handed form in and they gave me a ready steady baby book (really interesting) and I was told I would get a call to confirm when my app was.

How is everyone feeling today?

Cherie, think after my 12th test was starting to believe it... (sad eh)

Feeling bit crampy today, and bbs definately sorer when sleeping.. Think my tummy growing already. They say the more time you are pregant the quicker it shows, dont think I will be hiding this one till 12 weeks somehow...

Cant wait for first scan and first hearbeat etc.. feels like the first time again, I have forgotten everything.

Hope the rest of you's are feeling good today x

Mumto2 - Not sad at all I think we are all the same, you just want to make sure you are definately pregnant. Costs a fortune though Big Grin

I feel really bloated today and I have a wedding in 2 weeks and already have my dress for it! It just fits now so hopefully I dont put on any weight! Roll Eyes

Sure you will fit into hun, but what an excuse to go shopping for new clothes Smiler

Has anyone told anyone yet? I just started part time job 2 weeks ago and not sure when to tell them. Dont want them to think I was lying to them by not telling them?

I have an early scan coming up next week (i think) because i still have a Mirena coil in there. Dont know when i will be booking in with MW though, i suppose it depends on what happens with this scan.

I havent told anyone besides my DP and one close friend, as we are not sure how things will go yet. But fingers crossed!

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I missed the intro's yesterday.
I'm 31, DH is 36 and this is the first Bubs for us - we only got married in March!!!! Eeker I am in Liverpool, so considered a southerner compared to the rest of you!! Big Grin

I went to see the doc last Thursday and she just took my bp and said that she would register me with the maternity hospital and made an appointment for me to go back and see the midwife in 3 weeks.

How's everyone feeling? Yesterday was my worst day so far, felt utter crap and I have to say, I looked it too!!! Today haven't felt too bad, but am starting to fade now!!! Would love to pull a duvet day tomorrow!!!

Have a good rest of the weekend! Smiler

20Jan you must be so excited being your first..

My bbs look like the london underground at the moment. veins getting darker and joining in more places. lovely eh Smiler crampiness seems to of gone again. That was the only symptom I remember from other 2 as it kept worrying me, but believe its perfectly normal Smiler

Better go and get baths ready - do you think I can use the sore back one already and get DH to do them Smiler x

Well called Dr this morning to find out what procedures were, so got app at 12 today to get blood pressure etc checked.. and then they book my midwide app around 6 weeks then seemingly get a scan between 8 and 10 weeks. Seems real now. Had nightmare pregnancies in the past but easy labours.. Had spotting all the way through both, think I was in hospital more than I was out Smiler I am sure this time will be the same. Think I more prepared for it now, and having these forums is brilliant, can compare everything on here Smiler

Hope the rest of your girlies are well today and not feeling too yucky xx
