Hello all!!! At last...I have got 5 mins to pop on here and tell you that my little girl is here!!! She arrived on the 4th June at 06.11am, weighing 7lb 15oz!! She is absolutely beautiful, and really good...so far!! lol. I started having mild contractions at about 8ish on the tuesday evening, but had been feeling "strange" since about 4ish and new something was gonna happen! I rang the labour ward at around 11ish and they said take a bath and some paracetamol!!!!!!!! (I didn't bother, I knew things were progressing!!) I then took it easy, timing contractions at about every 12 mins. Then by about 3 in the morning, I decided that they were strong enough to be needing to get to hospital, so went in. As we travelled in, the contractions were coming every 6 mins already!! Got to hospital and I was already 4cm dilated, but could stretch to 8 apparently!!!! It was a really calm labour, and Lexie Rose made her appearance at 6.11am!! The worst part was after the labour,! It was a really busy time when I was there, and we ended up getting left for over 2 hours on our own once Lexie was born!!! I was lying in my blood all that time, and Lexie hadn't been weighed at all, and was still in a towel all this time! I wasn't impressed really, but I think they had a few emergencies to deal with, so you feel bad for saying anything! I had been feeding Lexie for about 1 1/2 hours by the time they weighed her too, so I think she would have been lighter than 7lb 15oz straight after birth! But never mind....she is here, and she is gorgeous!!!! I am breastfeeding which I am really pleased about, and she is gaining weight well!!! SWorry for the long post, and for taking so long to get on here and post!! I hope all babies and mummies are doing ok? Claire and Lexie Rose. x x x x

Hi girls! Congrats to all of you who have 'popped' since my last communication. Its been a long time since I've written. Elliott is a colicky baby in the evenings, so I am usually busy....+ I'm at my parents' at present and we have been having visitors +++++(!) Ange - I was reading about your experience of childbirth. My first labour (with ds 1)was bad enough (I tore badly with him - enough to warrent being stitched up by a surgeon). I also developed painful cracks on my nipples when breastfeeding. I used lansinoh before every feed for weeks (you don't have to wash it off before baby feeds). It is extremely effective when used generously. You are probably sick of people saying this, but things will get better. I remember how hard it was for me - all the trauma 'down below' + dreadful pain when feeding . Hope you feel better soon . Rachel-jade - sorry to hear about Riley's rash on his face. Are you sure this is excema? Newborn babies often have rashes on their faces, due to hormones adjusting after birth. This is normal and goes away within the first few months. My son has this, my health visitor said it doesn't require any treatment . Lea - sorry to hear about your SPD. Hope you get some relief soon. Won't be long before you will be holding your baby! Good luck ! Greetings to everyone else! Im using my mum's computer, so can't chat for long... WubbaXX me: 33; DS:16 months

OMG I can't believe I've missed so much!!! I knew we would have a run of babies so lots of baby vibes for me and lea please!!!! OMG Lea it's just you and me now hun. I too am counting on the full moon doing me some favours!!! Just found out my friend who was due on 24th had her baby 3 weeks early on the 7th - lucky cow!!!! She texted me but i never got it, so she just called for a good ol chinwag just now!!!! moomoo firstly to you - you'll be in hospital as we speak I guess so I hope things are happening for you naturally and you FINALLY get the birth you want! Claire and Lisa - congrats on your little girls - fab names! About time we had more girls on here!!!! So pleased things are going well for both of you x Ange - so sorry to hear you were so traumatised by it all but you do forget over time and as long as Luke is healthy that is the main thing. You poor lamb going through all that but things will get better as everyone says and make sure you talk it over with someone like your HV to help you come to terms with it and get over it all. Congrats too and slap on the lansinoh cream - it's more expensive than other nipple creams but it is WELL worth the money!!! As for me, still very pregnant obviously still lots of twinges, some painful some not so have given up trying to predict when things will start and am just ignoring it all!!!! hope all new mummies are doing well and love to everyone Loocy xxx [

Ok, the chart now officially makes me feel sad. It is just you and me Looocy! I bet it is the pressure that is keeping our babies in. I honestly think I may go into July! I have a friend due 2 weeks after me but i bet she goes first! I am with you on ignoring things. I am too which worries me a little as I am not sure when I will realise things have taken off. I have been having pains for a couple of weeks now and they are getting stronger. MooMoo - I hope you have your baby in your arms right now. I can't wait to hear all about it. Wubba - nice to hear from you. It sounds like mummy life is treating you well. I am sorry Elliot is colicky. I hope things ease up for you both soon. Claire - congratulations on your baby girl. How exciting for you! Beautiful name too. The labour sounds perfect! Can i have one of those please ;-) I am sorry you were left on your own for 2 hours like that! The NHS is so stretched right now I have to worry about what it will be like when I go in. Last time i had 4 different midwives and it was only a 10 hour labour! Jenni - lovely to hear from you. Good luck with the appointment. Thanks for sharing the video with us...he is an absolute DARLING! What a gorgeous smile Anyway, no news here. Loocy, take care and goodluck tomorrow x

moomoo, can't beleive you got to 42 weeks, you are a tropper, really hope you are holding your baby now. jenpen, let us know how josh's appt goes hoping it is going to sort it's self out. claire, massive congrats on the birth of lexie rose, all your girls have wonderful names, sounds like your labour went quite well, unfortunatly i can go one better than you, i was left for five hours after giving birth to alanna in all my blood and mess, i was on a drip and wasn't aloud to get up until it was finished (4 hours later) then the drip finished and i had to sit there and listen to the alarm for half an hour, it was another half hour before i felt like my bladder would explode and demanded to be helped up so i could go to the loo, my labour ward was extreamly busy too, they wanted me to stay home until 7am and she was born at 7.10am!!!! wubba, nice to hear from you honey hope your not too hectic and both ds's are doing well. looocy, lea lots of labour vibes coming your way as always, lea it's your predited day of delivery tomorrow!!! think it will happen tomorrow? well no news from me really just popped on to catch up, back still killing but have gp appt tomorrow, so hopfully he can help me out, right off for a bath while dd is having a cuddle with daddy!! oh put a couple of up to date pics on msn fr=or you gals!

OMG Lea it's just going to be me on my own soon I really hope that the sweep gets it going for you - sounds to me like it won't take much if you are fully effaced, engaged and ready to go! Here's hoping the contractions start soon and you finally have a pain-free labour!! moomoo - am sure you've had bubs by now whether by C-sec or naturally. Can't wait to hear your news Ellie - any news yet from you hun? Hope all is well Nothing doing here - don't think the full moon tonight is going to do much for me so will just have to sit this one out for the timebeing. Think it will be a July baby at this rate!!! love to all Loocy xx [

Hello Sorry i have not been on for ages i couldnt log in for some reason. Hope everyone is doing ok? Lea - Oh my God how exciting not long for you now!! Bet your well excited?!! Do you feel like you have been pregnant forever? Loocy - Hang on in there, not long to go now!! Niknac - How is your back doing after your appointment? Did you enjoy your bath last night? I had a bath to last night and was chilling out and my DH kept coming in asking me how much longer i was going to I hope i dont curse things by saying this but Bethany has been sleeping much better. I have changed her milk on doctors instructions because she was a little bit constipated, she was on SMA now she is on Aptamil. She doesnt seem to be constipated anymore and i have been feeding her at 10.30pm and she has been sleeping till 4am then i give her a little top up and she sleeps through till 8am. I can cope with that The SMA milk obviously doesnt agree with her. Anyway im off for a walk to Morrisons. Nat xx

I keep logging on to check Lea's progress - am so jealous you're closer than me Nat - I used Aptamil when I put munchkin onto formula as it was recommended to me and we've never had a problem with it, so hope that it sorts bethany out completely! I've heard that sma is quite rich for little one's tummies. Glad she is sleeping better Loocy xxx [

awww Loocy, I don't want to leave you lol :-( Don't worry I am still here and could be for a while yet. I am still cramping and having odd contractions but I just don't think it has worked. I am losing more of my plug but I am sure this baby just does not want to come out! Who knows. I have to have another sweep on Monday if this one has not worked but I really hope it happens before then! Nat - yes this pregnancy has dragged and I think it is because we have been witnessing births for a couple of months now so it just feels like my day is never coming lol. Glad to hear Bethany is doing better on that milk. I used SMA gold with Billy and thinking back he did have constipation issues. Maybe we will use Aptimil if breast feeding this one does not work. She is sleeping really well! Loocy, you hang in there anyway, I bet you just go at the drop of a hat! and I will be left here almost on my way but not quite! Big hug x
