lisa, i'm sure our dh's must be clones, that's my dh's most annoying habit, taking his socks off everywhere and leaving them there, grrrrrr to finding crusty socks all over the house!!! glad you had a nice day thinking of yourself, i just had a trim not very exciting, i'm saving the big hair change until after bubs is born and i can make myself look nice again!!

ever, peeps are so damn cheecky and insensitive, a customer in my shop the other day looked me up and down and asked, 'should you still be here?' like i am so huge that bubs is about to pop out, i said, 'err i've still got 7 weeks to go thank you!!!'

rach-jade, i don't seem to be having many probs logging on here, but if everyone else is moving over i will too.

Oh how exiting!!!! Glad I popped on to check now!!! thank you for letting us know!

Lisa - didn't mean to leave you off - when i posted, your message wasn't there...wierd huh? Hope you feel more energised tomorrow - we've got 2 parties to attend tomorrow and I'm not sure how I'm going to get through the day!! I'm knackered!

rach-jade - I wondered about the other forum too - I mean I do get really pissed off trying to get on here sometimes but I'm not going anywhere unless everyone else does

Nic - why do people feel its ok to look you up and down?!! Like you are some kind of freak?! It did work in my favour at the garage though - the mechanics were extra helpful and did quite alot of the little jobs that needed fixing on the car for nothing! Big Grin Didn't realise til DP went out to have a look (why do men feel they have to check on the nady work of other men??!!!)

Well hope everyone else is ok and not too tired.

Lots of love to baby Josh and Jen - hope the stay in SCBU is short and Josh is gets home tomorrow!xxxx

Oh how lovely I'm so glad her and baby are doing well. Congratulations Jenpen and partner on the birth of little Josh.

Rachael -Jade - My DH2B does the exact same thing, it is sooo annoying! Mad

Nicnak - How rude people can be. I don't think people realise they are being so insenstive sometimes hun. Your doing really well to still work. I'm so glad I am not the only one with regards to the nursery. I hope your DH does it soon hun. Mine is currently lilac and don't think it would look too good for a little boy, so am waiting for DH2B to paint it a nice cool blue colour, then I need to wash the carpet and that's it but we are still due to move DD into her new room and I don't think she is going to give up her cot without a fight!

Mantha - Have you seen any of the Mio baby real nappies, I got mine from John Lewis and they are extremely well priced to some I have seen. They are big cloths that you roll to the right size and then put a liner on top and place it inside a nappy wrap, very easy and simple to use. I get the same sensations with wanting to wee all the time especially when bubs moves.

Ever - Crikey you were up early, don't know how you manage it. How funny that we had the same thing for tea last night. That is a really good idea about taking an anti bacterial hand gel.

Ange - sorry to hear about your SPD, that must be horrible, I hope the next 2 and half weeks go really quick for you hun.

20January - Mmmm Fairy cakes sound yummy, did you get to make them in the end? I am so glad I am not the only one that is going to decide on a name until bubs is here.

Lisa - Were the 5 cups still there? If I left them there I think they would have mold growing out of them by the time they got moved! I hope you got to have a rest and feeling less tired now hun.

Today I went to meet MIL2B and she bought some new shoes for DD, I then went to find a card for my nephew's christening on Sunday and felt really sick and faint and then my eye sight started to go a bit hazy, I realised it was my blood pressure and had a gulp of squash and went to Bakers oven for a sit down, MIL2B seemed really concerned but the MW knows so I'm sure it is fine, last time they checked it, it was 90/40 but can;t understand why it would be low still at the later stages of pregnancy.

I have walked so much today that my hips and back are absolutely killing me. I must of over done it, it is so annoying not be able to do as much anymore.

I hope everyone is well and are looking forward to your weekends.

Love Jen x

Ah congratulations Jen Pen and baby Josh Smiler 5lb 10 thats heavier that my first baby and she was only 2 weeks early Smiler Hope you both doing well xx

Well my DH worst habit is putting his shirts etc in wash baskets but leaves socks on the floor, dont know what the difference could be but most annoying, also not folding towels but thats maybe just me being fussy Smiler

J Hope you feel better after feeling light headed. I did that in early learning centre few weeks ago, felt really hot, then eyes went funny and then couldnt hear properly, think the staff all panicked Frowner

Zoe hope you full of energy today for your parties Smiler just dont try and do too much xx

Nicnak, how rude of that customer, its no longer the middle ages when people hide their pregnancies and stop work that early. If you fit and well, good on you x

Anyway not much going on with me, still have period like pains, and BH, sleeping at night none existent at the moment, with pains or going to the loo.... only 12 days to go so not moaning honest xx

Me 37, DH 33, DD 9, DD 4, Zak born 15th April - 3 weeks early

jen - I agree with the frustration thing - I hate not being as mobile as usual - I get really fed up cos my DP is a bit slow at doing things if I ask him to and I get impatient cos I want instant results!! I heard it was something normal in pregnancy to have lower blood pressure (I'm guessing here but might be to do with all the extra blood volume and pressure we have on our lungs and heart to perform their usual tasks) If the MW knows then I'm sure its fine - mine is usually on the low side too and that usually makes the MW very happy! Got to be better than high hun - thats dangerous! MIL2B probably didn't help by worrying!

I'm so tired today that I've had to cancel one of our parties - we were meant to go to a friends 30th afternoon do (lots of us pregnant or with kids already hence why during the day) but I don't think I am up to it - I feel really anti social - the house is a tip and I hate it -so somehow I'm going to have to find the energy to get on with it!! Where is everyone these past couple days - quite a few regular posters missing. Guess this will be the way now for the next 2 months with people popping off to have little ones!! Will try and pop on later but to be honest I feel like poo so not sure if I'll manage it. Hope everyone else is ok xx

Evening everyone, hope your weekends are going OK. Sorry to hear you are so tired Ever, me too but to be honest its self inflicted cos I just like to relax after the kids have gone to bed! I've started fitball classes and aquanatal classes in a hope to get just a weeny bit fitter and to have more energy for the big day and beyond!

J - I'm not sure if they have those nappies in Oz but wuill def try and look them up on the net. The problem for me at the moment is set up costs because we are pretty skint. I will need to spend a couple of hours looking at all the options on the net.

Welcome to the world little Josh!!!! Well done JP on the birth and hope you are recovering well. I can't believe another May baby is born. Its all like a dream as its taken so long to get to this point!

DP and I have been trapsing round the shops today trying to get some things but didnt really get anywhere with regards to baby stuff but really and truely, we don't need a lot. No clothes at least just sheets, towels and nappy creams and of course some sort of cloth nappy system. We bought a white 3 tier change table and I'm going to put that in the front room by our bedroom (we are in a single storey like most houses in Oz) until the baby is about 3 months and will go in his or her own room. I was drooling at some of the gorgeous baby stuff but couldnt get any of it Frowner Still, we have quite a bit left fromt jhe girls so should be fine.

Getting late so will be off and put my feet up in bed X

Mumto2 - My DH2B does the towel thing too, it is sooo annoying, I find it so rude when you make the effort to make it look all nice.

I'm sorry to hear you are having a similar thing with your blood pressure, it can be really scary if you don't know what is happening.

With you on the lack of sleeping and peeing, have you tried cammomile tea, it is a great herbal remody to get you off to sleep, can't stomach the stuff myself but was very good when I was pregnant with DD.

Ever - I am the same as you and feeling a little anti social. I hope you are feeling better hun. I feel a little re-assured now that having low blood pressure is ok. I know what you mean about wanting instant results. I'm still waiting for a door in our bedroom and that's taken 2 years!

Mantha - Sorry hun, I didn't realise you were in Oz. I hope you can find something hun.

Today, I am feeling so emotional and grumpy over nothing. Last night, whilst in the bath I had a feel for bubs and was sure I could feel a very round shape like a head 3 or 4 inches above my belly button and have had a lot of low down kicks, so I am sure he has moved from being head down to being breech, does anyone know how you can tell??? DH2B is convinced I'm being paranoid.
I got on with my house work today and feel pooped, there is so much to do and I have no enthusiasm to do it.

I hope you are all well and having lovely weekends.

Love Jen x

YAY Welcome to the world baby Josh. What a lovely name Big Grin Congratulations to you both. Can't wait to hear more. What a good weight.

Mantha - we tried to do some shopping today as i realised i have bought NOTHING for this baby yet. We went to matalan and bought 3 x white vests, 3 x white babygrows, 5 x white socks, 1 x baby sleeping bag, 1 x pink dress and 1 x blue dungaree set all for £26!!!! I was so chuffed Big Grin We are the same - we need very little but i just had to get some new stuff just cos i felt guilty. Your changing mat sounds like a good idea.

Zoe - 1000 times bigger???? Don't scare me!!!!!!! I think we more than deserve to be tired hun so don't feel bad about prioritising and putting yourself first. Try and rest though as much as you can....you don't have long left now....

Teri - 12 more days? Really is that it? Wow. Period pains are a good start. I am having them too on and off although not been too bad today thankfully. I still can't believe it is only 12 days...how exciting Big Grin

Jen, i suffer with low blood pressure too. When i was in hospital i was 84/41. I was worried sick about it but my mw was really happy with it. I too felt like you...tired, dizzy etc. Just try and rest and know that low blood pressure is good for us pregnnat ladies even if we do feel like poo.

Nic - cheeky bugger! Why do people think they have a right to comment on our pregnant state? It is SOOOOO annoying. I am sure you look BEAUTIFUL Big Grin

Hi to all the other girls - won't let me scroll back....take care all xx
