Good morning ladies!! God I feel like crap!!! I have seen 4.02 am every morning for the last 5 mornings and every minute after that until I have got up. It is driving me mental!!!!! I just wish I knew why and then I could do something to fix it. I am not uncomfortable, bump is fast asleep, IO don't think I am stressing over anything. I am so tired I can hardly function. I decided to come into work today as there was no point in laying awake at home. Do you think I can take herbal sleep remedies???? I'm really at the end of my tether and I want to feel human again for my birthday at the weekend. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!

hi girls - just a quickie from me (ha ha do those actually exist??!!) as have a lot sof running around to do this afternoon! Nic - I am into the base idea too for car seats - thats why I'm hoping the cabrio fix will fit in the car - that way you just clip the seat onto it - no faffing about with the seat belt and worrying that you haven't got it in tight enough! Deffo try the probiotics - I think they make me feel better to be honest - more energy Cheryl - crappy news about the blood results - but good that your doc has found the cause of the tiredness and migraines - it might clear up a bit after pregnancy - the extra strain on your body is probably not helping. At least your injections will make you feel better - yeah to having 4 weeks off work though!!! Shame daytime tv is so crap though! Loving the idea of converting your garage - you only need the basic of planning permission to change to door to a window - that sounds like a great plan - you could probably get a table in there then too couldn't you? Lovely when you have kids doing homework etc while your cooking the tea - wish I had a kitchen diner but we have a lounge diner instead rach-jade - loving leila! (just to join in the rest of the gang!!) ANyway - its your baby not your MILs so you choose the spelling anyway - there isn't a right way to spell anything as far as names go! Ali - you poor honey. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING!!! Sorry but its not worth the potential risk. I agree with nicola - camomile tea is excellent - especially if you swap your normal drink for green tea during the day as well. Lavender sprinkled on your pillow is very good and very safe in pregnancy. If you and DH fancy a bit of massage use lavender in a carrier oil like plain massage oil you can buy from boots or anywhere like holland and barrett - don't use it neat on your skin. Also warm bath and so on....although they do say toward this stage of pregnancy your body starts to prepare you for sleepless nights with a newborn - so that could be it too. OOO just realise dyou are only 2 weeks off your third trimester - how exciting!!! I'm so excited we're all getting on with our dates! teri - hope the probiotics work! We can get tesco delivered here too - although haven't used it for ages - ought to as we used to save a fortune (although no 2 for £5 chickens for me though!!!) Well there we go - not short as usual - sorry...anyhoo off to the bank to pay in a cheque (yawn - hate cheques they are such a faff!!) Bubs has just woken up for the first time today and will probably now kick me in the car all the way there! Love to you all!

Hi lovlies just a quickie my head feels like it's going to burst!!!! Thanks for the support over the aplliances/ house buyers, we've decided to leave them and buy some new ones when you're skint your're skint eh??? and as Terri said they'll probably break on the new people because they're so old !!! Ange, glad you had a lovely birthday and that bubs is doing so well x Lisa, well done on joining the pink team and glad bubs is doing well Jenni, what a poo having carpel tunnel (sp??) , are you in pain with it hon?? and Cherie hope those jabs start making you feel better, 4 weeks off work should help get you back on track !!! Ali, what a nightmare with the sleeping you poor thing. I too have insomnia at the mo so know how you feel Mine is definately stress related, always has been I'm not sure about herbal stuff you'd have to be careful. At the mo I'm trying bath before bed, hot milk (yuck) or camomile tea, but I have to admit it's not really working! I know mine will only go when our house is sorted, I've finished work and know stickle is ok!!! I hope you find something to help hon x Have you got any plans for your birthday?? Nic sorry to hear about your thrush, thank god I've never had it, I hope the yoggie stuff helps you a bit. can I check are you going to buy a seperate car seat that won't go on the pram but will go with a base? Can you only use the silvercross seat with the silvercross pram or do others fit??? sorry for being thick Terri, hope your headaches are easing x Ever, sorry to hear about your family mare, that's awful that your Mum treats you differently to your brother but lots of parents do strange things as they get older. But you know what, however difficult it is you'll still have a fabulous wedding and you'll know you've done it all yourself !! Loocy, when is it your birthday ?? Rach-Jade how long more do you have to stay of the nook ??? Right, well it wasn't such a quickie from me, Update... We had our 20 week scan today and I'm so pleased to say Stickle is ok !! There were absolutely no anatomical markers for Down syndrome and although not 100% sure all ok, the sonographer said it was 79% accurate (not sure where she got that from but we'll take it!!)So feeling much more positive now and going to just try and enjoy this pregnancy (I can't believe what an unbelievable journey this has been!!!!) Well best go, we're going out for dinner can't be doing with cooking now Will post new scan pic and bump pic at weekend ! Love to all Ellie

Oh RJ, I am so sorry!!!!!!!! One thing that strikes me is that she is only a baby. Do you know why she did it???? Or was it just random? When we had our old Mountain Dog, Buddy, My lilttle sis sat next to him while he was fast asleep and he got such a fright that he kind of went for her, but realised what he'd done and ran away upstairs for the rest of the night, because he was so upset!!! - Stupid dog!!! If it was just random and she was being just plain naughty then I would be wary of her. I know it sounds cruel, but when she did it, did you punish her? She is still a training age and unsure of right and wrong. Being a collie, she is very highly strung and probably needs a little more discipline than other breeds. I am not cruel to my dogs, but if they are naughty, then they definitely know about it!!!! It's very hard to advise on what to do. Our family had to put a dog down for biting one one of my friends about 15 years ago, it broke our hearts as with us he was loyal and adorable, he just hated other people!! So I know the predicament you are going thru. I would go with your gut reaction - was it a one off, in need more training because she is only a baby incident or do you think she was being a nasty piece of work? I hope my waffle helps. Xxx

Rachael, sorry to hear bouy pup. My sister used to breed border collies and they do sometimes have a bad nature when kept as pets , but think it could just be her trying to show you both who boss. My sister walks dogs for a living and she had a few come in and try that, she wrestles them to the ground and growls at them or bites their ear (I know can just picture us pregnant women trying this). Up to you hon, but are you always going to be wondering if you can leave her with baby only you will know this, maybe it is just her trying to be in control. hope it works out for best xx Ellie, glad you feeling better bout house move now so pleased about 20w scan also - looking good xx Jen, hope wrists are bit better today hon. good excuse for no housework xx Zoe - how you feeling today hon, any more plans for Gretna?? Well I have 24 week midwife appointment today (hopefully no bloods) going to mention headaches to hopefully have solution. anyway better go xx

jenni, how crappy having to wear slints. like you don't have enough to deal with. i feel like such a cheat, i think i'm going to give birth to a devil child because this pregnancy has been such a breeze. feel better honey. ellie, woohoo to the great scan news, looking out for the pic at the weekend, did you say you had finished work ?!?! right carseats, thats right i will buy a seperate carseat that won't fit on my pram, might be a bit hassel moving bubs between carseat and pram whlie sleeping but your only meant to keep babies in carseats for 2 hours at a time anyway so i think it will be better lying in a pram that sittig in a carseat. i think i'm going with the maxi cosi one recommended by zoe, had a look at it and i quite like it, it has a base so i can just lift it in and out, but it won't fit on the pram. the silvercross ventura does fit on the 3d pram, but like i said too much hassel for getting it in and out of car, i'd rather just lift bubs out than arse about with the seatbeat. wow that was a bit longwinded, sorry about that. rach, sorry about your puppy i have never had dogs so can't offer any advise sorry. had midwife yesterday, was only there for 5 mins as all is weel, not going back for 6 weeks then i get the anit-d jags. can anyone clarify, this is in the bum isn't it. right better get ready for work, love to all xx

Hi Ladies, Well I tried all the insomnia remedies last night!! I had a warm bath before I went to bed with half a bottle of Radox Lavender in it, lights off and candles and stuff, which was lovely and relaxing, in fact heaven, until Bubs decided to start doing the rumba!!!!!! Then I took a warm glass of milk and a biscuit to bed. I dropped off straight away, but was definitely awake on cue again during the night!!!! The only thing is, I didn't check the time because I think that it winds me up more. I just tried to relax and drift off again. The only remedey I didn't try was the massage, Zoe, as poor DH is dying at the moment with worst man-flu imaginable. In fact I have hardly seen him. He has just been coming in from work and going straight to bed, bless him. So massage has gone out of the window!!! Not the best sleep in the world, but definitely a lot better than of late, so thanks for all the advice girlies!!!! JP - I'm sorry about the wrists hon. Will that be until bubs is born now or just a short while. How is your pelvis?? Teri - good luck with mw. I didn't have any bloods taken at 25 weeks, so fingers crossed!!! I hope they sort the headaches out for your hon. Nik - glad the appt went well yesterday, did you get to hear bubs hb again??? Ellie - I'm sooooo pleased the scan went well and put your mind at ease re the DS. 79% is a bit random isn't it???? But as you say, go with it because it may be random but it is a great percentage!!!! Loocy - How did the baba's birthday go yesterday?? Hope everyone else is ok!! I was sorting out antenatal yesterday. The NCT one I signed up for ages ago has allocated me a class in North Liverpool and I am South Liverpool - so a huge faff at 7pm in the evening!!! I was in 2 minds about whether to go or not, so I asked the organiser how many of the other couples were from South Liverpool to make a decision about whether to go or not, and she said all of them. Is it me or would it not be more sensible to bring the teacher to all the heavily pregnant women in South Liverpool rather than make them travel across the city to see the teacher!!!! Anyway, decided to go, as I might meet some mummy friends. There is also a local community class, but I don't think I am going to get DH to both!!! Just wanted to end my post on a brag - I am still very much in my jeans!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!
