Rach - Don't worry about forgetting my birthday as my brain is also fried and I can't remember anything. I have to rely on Ali to remind us of people's birthdays / scans. Has your DH felt Sanley kick yet? I am just glad I watched I Am Legend in the daytime or I would have also had to watch something nice afterwards to calm myself down aswell as check in all the rooms and cupboards,LOL!
Jenni - I am sorry that I missed your post about going to the hospital. What a relief that your liver & kidneys are ok hun. It is good that they are going to keep a good eye on you. I hope your fingers are less pufy today. x
Nic - I can't believe they have discontinued the Pistachio at Babies R Us. They also don't have it in Kiddicare anymore. I have seen that you can get it from some ebay shops. I like the Jet Sport one but the car seat only goes up to 10kg whereas it was 13kg with the pistachio. My DH was 10lbs something and his brother 9lbs odd so I am also concerned about the size Beanie will be. At what stage are they able to tell you whether you look to be having a big / small baby? Can you put Ellie and I at 20 weeks today. At my scan they put me at 20 weeks yesterday but I am going to keep my dates as before.
Lisa- Congrats on having a girl hun. Are we 50/50 now on Team Pink and Team Blue?
I hope everyone else is well.

Ange - i dont think they can tell if baby is going to be big/small until the last 5 weeks or so. Even then, its not an exact science and they quite often get i very wrong! If your bubs is big at birth, that has no bearing on how big he will be afterwards. Big babies usually put on weigth after birth slower than small babies, and after a couple of months, they all pretty much average out
Ange, hun, fellow capricorn, sorry I missed your birthday y'day. Glad you had a good day and your scan went so well!!! Great news that your DH has also felt bubs kick - I remember my DH never believing me that it did kick til he felt it!!!! as for birth weight, they often don't have a scooby until baby is born. last time I was told I was having a big baby so was convinced I was going to have this 9lb massive bouncing boy and out popped the most beautiful teeny-weeny delicate 6lb 12 girl!!!!!LOL!!! As Jenni said, it all evens out in the end and remember that 10kg is well over 22lbs so bubs will get to at least 10 months before being ready for a new car seat anyway. And they get so heavy that you won't want to be carrying them in their first car seat beyond about 10-11 months anyway so I would go for the one you like best rather than worrying about what weight they go up to.
Jenni - hope all ok and glad they are keeping a close watch on you - take care of yourself!
Lisa - woo hooo to the girlie camp!!! Hey we are almost there on the girl/boy split. Only 4 of us left to find out or not - RJ, Lozzie, me and Lea. I think we're going to have a surprise, but still not sure.
Lisa - what great news!!! Congratulations on joining team pink!! Glad bubs is healthy and well - LOL about the thongs! I love mine but I have to resign myself to the fact that unless I go up 3 sizes ( ) I can't wear them from now on as they just don't work with a bump!
Ange - happy birthday!! (ooo just realised it was yesterday....sorry hun I didn't realise!)Great news scan went well and yeah to hubbie feeling it at last! My last midwife with DS told me "shetland ponies don't give birth to shire horses"- which I think meant not to worry about how big it will be as you should only get as big as you can manage. If you spend as much of your labour walking around and as active as possible - maybe use a birth ball etc, it will help your pelvis widen plenty for delivery and the size of your baby won't affect you big or small. Everyone's right - they can never really tell unless they do a late scan and the size of your bump is irrelevant to the size of your baby apparently!
Cheryl - We didn't have room for a dishwasher and actually had to remove a cupboard to squeeze it in!! Although it sticks out almost a foot from the worktop cos of a waste pipe stuck on the wall I don't care if it looks daft! Luckily the kitchen is wide enough to still get the door open despite being stuck out so far! Could u lose a cupboard in your kitchen?
rach-jade - I'm very tempted by the whole registry office quickie thing but I'm a catholic who does actually bother to go to church occasionally (although not as much as I should!!) so would feel a bit gutted I missed out on the whole church deal...DP isn't religious at all tho so wouldn't care two hoots where he married! Great job that you kept all your baby clothes! I didn't keep anything of DSs and wish I had now as we don't have alot now just pushchairs and car seats that I would have had to have for childminding. We need to buy nappies, clothes, bedding, everything!
Teri - I read on the nhs website that pro biotics are fine in pregnancy - I like actimel myself - its yummy! Not sure I could cope with yakult - it looks horrible on the advert! Activia yoghurts are nice too. Those are the two things I have started having recently - and actually my heartburn isn't so bad either so maybe they're linked?
Ali - sorry to hear you're struggling a bit - duvet days are the best for when you need a break. Hope you feel better tomorrow x
Jenpen - hurrah results came back ok - glad everything is getting better
Nicola - why do people feel they have the right to comment on our bumps?! Really annoys me that does - ignore them! Either that or say "actually I'm not pregnant - I just ate alot of cakes over christmas"!! That'll shut them up!!!
Loocy - I'm hoping you find out - I'm dying to know what all these surprises are!!!!

ever - too true on the bump size. Last time I was HUGE and had quite a small baby - it was all fluid!!! I lost 2 stone immediately - the day after delivery, I was constantly just wee-ing out pints and pints of extra fluid my body had retained!!!!! LOL. Not fun!
As for thongs, I was a lifelong devotee but I had to give up on them when I was pregnant last time as they were sooo uncomfy and I've never gone back. It's big comfy knickers all the way for me now!!!
As for thrush, I'm with the pre/probiotics camp. I used to get regular thrush til I started eating yogurts with probiotics in them regularly - the Yeo Valley organic range is YUM!!!
had a mamouth training morning at work so my brain is compeltely fried so have told dh im just gnna do nothing this afternoon haha.
lisa- congrats on the pink bump bet your over the moon. glad scan went well hope ds is feeling better soon.
zooe- we have just got to get nappies and baby wipes and stuff like that reall oh and the pushchair the rest we have feel a bit guilty as stanley is going to be a right hand me down kid hahah i agree with what you said on ali's thread on parenting. 1st time round we spent a fotune and most of the stuff we ebay'd off brand new cuz we just never used it.e.g top and tail bowl and bath.
ange- me and dh went to kiddicare at the weekend and they were selling thier pistachio's off quite cheap its a shame cu it's a really nice colour. stanley is very cheeky he has a mad half hour kicking sessin but as soon as i tell dh to feel its like stanley knows and stpos haha. stanley does ggo mad in the bath which is slightly weird haha
nik - im so jelous of you getting to do all this aquanatal stuff they dont have anything like that round here. oh im 21w+2 days by the way for the chart lol
jenni- lol and baby annabel in your baby equipment. we got my dd a baby annabel for xmas it kinda freaks me out the way it turns its head she loves it though.
loocy- im afraid im with you on the thong situation i wouldnt wear anything else before i got pg with dd and had to mov onto the granny pants lol i'd never go back now wore one for a work do a while back (obv had clothes over the top) and it was like cheese wire lol
anyhoo i better go being demansded to play pplay d'oh with dd. she's started calling me mum instead of mummy now shes so grown up its scaring me
just had a chat with mil well she was moaning at me really lol how would you ladies spell the name leila. i said as i typed it l.e.i.l.a she reckons thats wrong and it should be spelt l.a.y.l.a or l.a.i.l.a so now im confused im not the best speller in the world as you may have gathered lol
what do you guys think how would you spell it dh says he dont care how its spelt really?
RJ - i think both Layla and Leila are aaceptable. Personally, i prefer Leila, as thats how my friend it for her little girl. Have never seen it spelt Laila though.
ange, i didn't get the carseat to go with the 3d because there is no base to go with it and you need to feed the seat belt through all the silly wee bits everytime you take it in and out the car, also the whole point of the pram for me was so that bubs can lie flat, instead of sitting in the carseat. i got the jet sport and it's georgous!
going to have to try probiotic yogurts know that you have all mentioned them, anything is worth a try.
rach, i have a niece called laila with an A i used to spell it with an E and eventually my sil told me of for always spelling it wrong, with an E always seemed more natural to me.
my dh finally felt bubs kick today, he did actually tell me he'd felt it last week when we were laying in bed, but couldn't remember the next day so must have been half asleep, so we just had a big cuddle on the couch for half an hour especially so he could feel something and bubs didn't dissappoint, it's been having a party in my womb today.
jennni, good luck at hospital tomorrow, i have midwife tomorrow.
right i'm off for a long bath.

Just got the results from my blood test I am low in iron and need to take tablets 3 times a day for the rest of my pregnancy. Also turns out I have a vitmin B12 deficiency and therefore need to get an injection twice a week throughout pregnancy then once every 3 months for the rest of my life!! I really hate needles too!! Good thing is though that Dr said this is whats causing my migraines and the feeling of being tired all the time. He told me I should start to feel alot better in a few weeks. Thats me off work now for 4 weeks.
Nic - Thanks for the advice on bump, still seems to be sticking out more at one side. Will have to pass on the aquanatal class as im just soooo tired all the time and have a constant headache! Cant wait till these injections start kicking in!
Ever - I couldnt even lose a cupboard in my kitchen, it must be the smallest kitchen ever!!! Honestly its tiny! Me and DH has spoke about converting our garage into a kitchen as dont know how long we can live with it. At least then we could have a dishwasher.
Rachael - I think the nicest way of spelling it is Leila and like JP I have never seen it spelt as Laila!
Hi to everyone I have missed, so hard trying to keep up on this thread!
