o and i found those bibs that u have to tie a knot with are awful wen u got a crying baby and are struggling..and also velcro was a no no..as Ds was able to pull it off.. the metal button ones wer the best.. but initially get either velcro or button...side buttons are the best for ease... last thing u wana be doing is tying an accurate knot on a bib on a chiuld crying the house down forhis feed (tip: newborns arent perfect lil angels as portrayed on tv.. wen they wana feed..they want it NOWWWW!!!)[Big Grin]

Ooh... actually our cot might have been the 60 one from Mothercare. I just remember that I didn't like many of them and it was nice and simple and clean looking with no fancy bits and happened to be the cheapest they had. Its got a drop side which I was dead set on getting but to be honest we've not used it that much and wouldn't worry about it if we ever needed to buy a new cot. The base is adjustable so before the baby can sit up and move about you can have the mattress really high up if you want.
Shona... I think you're meant to take the cot top changers off when the baby is in there.
Faiza... we only started using bibs when Daisy was dribbling like a demon when her 1st few teeth were coming through at about 5 mths. There was so much dribble otherwise, that her clothes would be soaked through in a matter of minutes. (Plastic backed bibs are best in that situation Red Face) )
