I have just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant, but for a year I have had a coil. I was obviously dissapointed at first because i have twins already and another one would mean that I have three under the age of 5. But anyway, just wanted to find out if anyone else has had a baby with the coil still fitted. Obviously now I have my head around being pregnant, I need to feel it is going to survive with the coil still there! I am worried, HELP!! dont panic! my sister fell preg while on the coil. she had to have it removed which has a little risk but 9 times out of 10 everything is fine. she now has a healthy baby girl and had a very text book preg. youwill be fine!! good luck! claire.t

its nice to hear all these good outcomes, im afraid to say that i got pregnant while i had the coil in and sadly had to have the baby removed at 13wks as the coil had hooked itself into the amniotic sac. I hope everything goes well for you keep us posted.
