I got the faintest line ever at 11dpo with an ebay cheapie then a better line (still not dark but obviously a line) at 13dpo. I double checked it with a Boots test which was much darker so I guess you get what you pay for! I think the cheapie ones do work, just probably not as soon as they claim!
Good luck!

Said this the other day...but I'll just pop it on here too!..
Wouldn't bother buying them again... They fulfil a poas addict's needs for a short while but I've fallen preg both times I've used them and they were total cr@p compared to Clearblue +/- and even the Clearblue digital. The ones with hcg written in red on them were mildly better than the blue ones I've had recently.

Joanne, I was beginning to think the internet OPKs didn't work either as I kept getting a BFN on them. However, I got a + one on Wed around noon (had a lot of stretchy cm the day before so just thought, what the hell...I'll test) and that was an internet one. But I still don't trust my eyes. I was going to go out and buy teh Clearblue digital one but it was like 23 and I didn't want to pay that much. I did do a different internet opk at home later that night and it was bfn. I'm pretty sure the one I did in the afternoon was + though as I didn't even have to squint at it to see the line - it was very obvious there were two lines and they seemed as dark as each other! Having said this, if I don't get pg this month I may buy one batch of Clearblue digital for next month just to be doubly sure!

I only used internet cheapies (ebay) and got a faint line from 9DPO I think but you do have to wait for it and can be easily mistaken for evaporation lines-I think its hit and miss and there are some dodgy batches about!!! Hope this helps. Baby Usa (21weeks tomorow!!!)

I was using Access Diagnostic OPKs and HPTs. The opks were ok - no line at all until almost right at ov time for me, but often the positive line was never actually the same strength as the control. I only knew I'd o'd because of temps afterwards. I learnt this after a while, but it's not perfect.
The HPTs were not good. I got a BFP at 11 dpo using a Boots HPT, then tested next day to confirm with the only thing I had left (tiny Access Diagnostic strip tests) and got a REALLY faint line. Panicked, went and got another shop variety (Boots or Clearblue) and got a much better line). I wouldn't recommend them I have to say. They just seem weaker.

I got my BFP with one of those at 11DPO, it was either a 10 or 15 miu, can't remember! It was very faint though so decided to get a tesco HPT to confirm! I got mine off a site called access diagnostics.
Hoped that has helped.

Hi I used the acon 10miu strips and got a faint bfp at 11dpo. It took quite a few days for the line to get much darker but really a hpt is to tell you if you are pg or not, not how pg you are. Personally they worked for me, I've had 2 previous m/c and I got my bfp's with the acon tests on those occasions too.
Also I never got a false positive either, or a false negative. I had evap lines but they were after looking at the tests hours/days later and very very faint grey lines. All tests say to disregard the result after 10 mins or so, so again its my own fault for scrutinising the tests after the stated waiting time.
Hope this helps.

I thought i would do my own investigative work today, and this is what i found.
From the same urine sample i collected i used a clearblue OPK and the ebay opk. can i just say i am currently on Clomid cd 12. The clearblue came up with + and the internet opk came up with the faintest of faintest lines. So i think i will continue with the Clearblue.
Hope this helps, thought i would share it.

I bought cheap tests from ebay I knew I was preg as I felt preg as had had two previous babies. I did a test and had a faint line, I had a bulk of tests so each day did another and the line got darker and darker each day. I knew I was preg, but even then bought a shop one aswell, how sad am I. but I actually found the cheap tests worked fine.
hope this helps.
Divvy hope you get a BFP soon hun. xx
