I found out i was pregnant eight and half weeks ago. On my sixth week i started bleeding. I went to the early pregnancy unit at the hospital. I was sent for a scan straight away, because i was only 6 weeks i had to have an internal probe scan and thats when i found out. The nurse discovered a baby in my womb that was absolutely fine, a pregnancy sack in my womb with nothing in it (miscarried, that is why i was bleeding) and also found a live pregnancy in my right tube. I was admitted straight away for key hole surgery to remove the tube with the baby in. After surgery there was a good chance of loosing the baby in my womb, but a scan a few days ago confirmed that the baby in the womb had survived everything and is developing normally. The doctors said the chances of that happening is 1 in 30 thousand pregnancies and he has never seen it. So there is hope out there.

Sorry to hear your news.

I was the same with my second, at my 12 week scan they found a pregnancy sack "which just did'nt happen", so I would have had twins. I was told by everyone that things happen for a reason, and it does sound really heartless, but you have got to stay positive for your baby that is due. I think you deserve a medal for what you have been through, and you have already been reasurred your little bump is doing well.

So be strong and try to keep your chin up, and start looking forward to being a mum (if you are not already)
