I didn't want to post on the justme thread, as that is just encouraging people to continue that thread and the nastiness that has been going on about the justme situation.
There have been various incidences recently where we have been suspicious of someone's motives for posting on here. We all agree (I presume) that since these are public boards we HAVE to have trust that people who post on here, until we have evidence to prove otherwise, are genuine and want to receive information, advice and give support. Please let's not lose that, as the majority of us ARE genuine and do need support.
I think what Talia and others said should stand us in good stead. If we get suspicious about someone's story or things don't add up, then either let's ignore them and their posts completely or else ask them in *an unthreatening way* to explain their situation and clarify what they mean - if someone is repeatedly nasty or keeps changing their story, point out to them (politely) that we don't think they are genuine, we are going to ignore them and could they please leave these boards. Please let's stop laying into EACH OTHER because of a few sad individuals who post on here to gain attention rather than support. [V]
TTC and having babies is a very emotive subject but unfortunately there are people out there who enjoy playing on other's emotions for whatever reason. Please can we enjoy the support that most of us want and need.
