Hey everyone,

Hope you don't mind me joining you.

Congrats to all the october mums to be and hello to everyone else.

Think i am due begining of october (going to docs to confirm tomorrow).

Being sick or feeling sick most of the time and my belly is so bloated it hurts to try and squeeze into my jeans so i've given up on them and have resigned myself to the fact that i will have to try and make jogging bottoms look trendy!!

Take care ladies,

Karli-Jade

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for all your replies! You are all so great and supportive. I am very shocked about poor Cathy's news I really am and the thread won't be the same without her. What a dreadful thing to have happened. Hopefully they'll be more girls due in Oct soon XX

Hi Mantha,

So sorry to here about your 2 m/c last year.
Your Oct baby must be a true blessing for you congratulations.

I think i'm due on the 9th. Not had that confirmed by the doc yet, but looked on one of them due date calculator things on a prgnancy web site.
My birthday is on the 6th so it will be nice if bubby decides to put in an appearence then!!

I'm new on here so I don't really know anything about anyone or what things like ds, dh, af mean so if you would't mind breifing me that would be great!!

How old are your twin girls?

I have a girl of 3 1/2 and a boy of 2.

I must be mad!!

OK I'll try and give you a run down of how I understand the abbreviations!

DH: dear/darling husband
DP:dear/darling partner
DD/DS:dear/darling daughter/son etc
AF:aunt flo (your period!)
TTC:trying to conceive
TMI:too much information

I'll try and put a few more down when I can remember some. Hope that helps for now though.

The girls were born May 04. I also had a MC before them too so am mega anxious. I will literally be amazed if I get another baby with this pregnancy! How lovely having your 3 children nice and close

Thanks for that hun!!

Yeah it will be nice to have them so close in age.

I was an only child until I was 15. My mum had trouble conceiving after me. She eventually had a little girl through ivf when I was 15 then had ivf again when I was 17 and had twins! We were pregnant at the same time actually!!.

So it was important for me to have my children close in age.

I'm sure that your oct bubby will be fine.

How are you feeling with this one?

I feel really sick I didn't have sickness at all with the other to so this is new to me.

take care hun!!

I'm feeling good, no symptoms except bigger boobs and lack of af symptoms really. No sickness yet but after the sickness I had with the girls I would be very glad not to have to go through it again. I was hospitalised with dehydration vomiting 4 times a day from 5 to 16 weeks. Nightmare! Thing is, then, I could lie down all day but not now!!! How amazing that you and your mum were pregnant at the same time!!

You poor thing!! Being sick that much!! My boobs are bigger, not sore though. It's weird, I've still got a belly ache like af is coming. Is that okay?

Tell me about not being able to lie down, sit down would be a fine thing!!

My dd told me the other day that she wanted a little sister because her brother get's on her nerves!!

Not gonna tell her I'm pregnant till I've had 3 month scan but she's gonna be so excited. Unless it's another boy of course!! Me and dh don't mind what we have.

Mantha - Well done on starting the October thread, I hope you have a very happy and healthy pregnancy.

It is such a shame about Cathy and it is so unfair, she should be here in the Oct thread with all the other pregnant mummies.

Good Luck to all you October Mummies, I hope that some of the other girls from the 2ww thread will be joining you soon.

Take Care

Emma
